JP Prince cannot shoot

You do realize he's made some critical free throws when needed. He's normally got 2-4 steals a game.... very good at taking charges. Of course he needs to work on his outside shot.... and interior passing skills, but the players compliment each other. I definitely think we need him right now.

He is way too selfish all the time. If he could shoot he'd be really good. I get scared everytime he touches the ball

Can't be no more than when Stanley Asumnu used to put his hands on the ball. Lol

He has really improved his free throw shooting, and sometimes and yes i do mean sometimes he makes some good cuts to the basket....sometimes.

True, cannot shoot. Biggest value is his ability to steal and take charges.

I couldn't understand him starting before the fiasco, but I can since.

He has for sure improved and is improving, but I'd still like to see someone else start and show us what they can do

If we were at full strength you would not see him as much, really no choice at this point but to give him a lot of minutes.

I'm not sure it's a positive when you have to list "good at taking charges" as a player's strength.

Exhibits ability to get in position and quickness. Not saying its a huge strength, just saying what he has been able to do.

In today's game, JP had twice as many assists (8) as the rest of the team - combined. He also had 8 boards and 13 points.

JP causes opposing teams all kinds of problems and is invaluable in his role as a defender. Sure he is not good at all facets of the game but I (for one) am sure glad he's on our side.

I know it’s “cool” to bash JP, but he is a really good kid and is not someone I’d like to play against. Today he had 13, 8, and 8. But he does get a little selfish and too cute, thus the 6 turnovers.

He's a good on-ball defender, good rebounder (when he realizes not to snowbird), and is a good passer. He's unselfish...showboat? Hell yes. Selfish? I don't think so, at least not this year.

Yeah i just feel like b maze can run with the best of them when he is isolated one on one. and bone is one heck of a defender who also has ball skills that are far superior than jp's.

So you're ok with giving up 4 inches on the court because you want to split the job of PG?
