True, but I think this will be a good change for JR. I think now that he doesn't have to put up w/ her crap he's bout to be winning more

He'll be in a Budweiser Chevy, that much we can be sure of. HMS seems to be out of the pictures, so that leaves Childress and Gibbs as the top Chevy teams.

Kelley just said the last option would be to start their own team (JR Motorsports), but that is something they'd be prepared to do.

whevever he goes, you can bet your life that Budweiser will be right there with him. Bud has nothing to stay at DEI for. I think Childress is definitely a possibility, but don't forget about Gibbs. Jr. is a HUGE Washington Redskins fan, and who does the owner of that company coach? The Redskins. So, don't rule that out either. And never rule out Rick Hendrick, just because he has 4 drivers already doesn't mean he won't try to find a way to bring in some extra $$$.

my question is, now that Jr. has told Teresa to have fun with Menard and Truex, will she be willing to give the #8 to him? That number belongs to her, not Jr, so it'll be interesting to see if she is cooperative witih that, because she doesn't have to allow him to have it. There are A LOT of #8 memorabilia out there at every race, and that would be a lot of wasted money.

Not a Jr. fan as most of you know but I think this is his best career move. TEI's program espicaly at plate tracks has slipped big time time the past few years and thier early COT effort isn't par to the top teams either. There is clearly alot of family issues going on so this move makes sense for several reasons. I'd almost bet on it he ends up at RCR. I doubt and don't think Jr. feels right about driving the #3 so if he doesn't buy the #8 from TEI it'll probably be in the #33 for RCR. I don't see Jr. Motorsports stepping up to a Cup team next season because I don't think Kelly wants to or that they are anywhere close to being ready. So with that all said and done here are the big questions to be asked.

1. Does he buy out the #8?
2. If not, who takes over the #8?
3. Who does DEI go after in the off-season? I'd expect them to try to make a statement with a big hire to replace Jr.

4. Is Dale Sr. officialy rolling over in his grave?
