Hopefully he works out. This class has me worried though.

We are filling needs this year. We need depth and kids that are play now. (JUCO)

We will go star hunting next year I believe, we cannot afford the time to court some of these 5 star players right now. We need to fill a roster first, you can get 5 *** for the price of time of recruiting 1 *****. We have holes everywhere and technically speaking more *** play in the NFL than *****... So lets fill this class up, because it would suck to have 5 players commit and only have 1 ***** then go through the depth issues we have dealt with all year. Depth has lost us 2 games.

I love them…but we need black helmets instead of white…that’s the missing piece IMO

Good luck finding them. The college I worked for last year couldn't get any and the school I work for this year cant get them either. That's probably why Hooker wears the helmet he wears, because UT couldn't find anything else.

I’m curious to hear what that kid runs bc he looks extremely fast in his videos…. I know the competition may not be great but I’m wondering if he is as athletic as he looks.

Just noticed he's a 5.7 on Rivals...I would expect at least a 90 from 247 when they get around to it based on comments they've made...that will make him a composite 4* (as long as ESPN doesn't do something stupid with his rating)...

This of course either doesn't matter at all or is a written in stone indication of his future success (that and how well spoken he is)

But, but… I feel like I’ve just read multiple pages about how Vols recruiting is circling the drain because we are taking unwanted unranked players like this.

Could it be that our staff has a good eye for talent and the recruiting rankings tend to catch up to that after the fact?

We are in a pretty good spot considering. 20th ain't bad and we are likely to improve on that by signing day.

This is a good point that most rational posters will accept...I also don't worry about the final ranking of this (or any) class this staff brings in for two reasons:

1. The transfer portal
2. This staffs ability to develop what they get (unlike previous staffs)

Does anyone know how CC football in Mississippi works. I don't think we need to question his level of competition if we don't question other Missippi JUCO kids level of competition. I would imagine there are only so many JUCO teams there and they all play each other.

Big fan of this guy. He is super quick but has solid technique and his amazing vert allows him to knock away 50-50 balls with big receivers. Also a great punt returner and blocked a couple extra points (was in the backfield before kicker made contact with ball). Can play inside and out

Well yeah that’s the obvious. I know there are a ton of 3 stars become successful but the level of success among higher rated players is more likely. I mean, missouri is ahead of us for crying out loud.
