'20 JUCO DE Jordan Davis (Mississippi State commit)

So if Pruitt is our guy, and he's able to get Tosh up here too, does that open the door for us into the Davis sweepstakes or will mom keep her foot down?

We should

2018 RB Depth...
J. Kelly (sr)
T. Chandler (so)
C. Fils-Aime (jr)
T. Jordan (so)
T. Coleman (so)
A. Grant (fr)

We need a little help but I think we need to focus more on OL and DL. The lack of depth in the trenches is atrocious.

I made that statement before the season. Our depth at rb ended up being better than I thought. But oline and OLB (Davis and Anderson). I like our d line class

OL DL LB's are where we need immediate help. I like our backs if JK stays.

I think we are good on dlinemen. The commits we have are impressive. Sign pass rushers and ILBs

Add offensive linemen to that list. We currently only have two players committed and neither are highly ranked

We're fine for 2018, but we lose a lot of guys heading into 2019.

Yeah, but we also are signing a big d line class this season. Don't see us adding another unless he's a juco or a nose guard

I disagree. It wouldn’t surprise me to see them try to add 3-4 more guys on the DL. Keep in mind that Litaker has been injured basically all throughout HS now. So we’ve basically got 3 good DL commits, and one JUCO who may be looking around. Look at the offers they’ve made since they came in: they’re gunning for guys on the DL, OLBs, and pass rushers (I know, there’s a decent bit of overlap there).

I’m not sure Pruitt thinks too much of a lot of our current DL talent. We lose Phillips, KMac, Kongbo, Tuttle, Alexis Johnson and (possibly) Taylor after 2018. We’ll more than likely see 1-2 depth guys transfer out by the 2018 season as well.

I’m expecting to see them try to get 1-2 nose guard type guys and at least one more DE. And 2-3 guys who can play OLB for us after Taylor leaves.

Back in the game! In the Carvin thread, Carvin says that "Pruitt was Davis' guy at Bama," and that UT has been coming hard at him and Carvin talks to him a lot and thinks that UT could potentially land him.

To get Carvin, Banks, AND Davis would be monstrous!

Alabama recruits remain committed to Tide after Jeremy Pruitt's departure

"Davis, who is from Memphis, Tenn., is Alabama’s longest-tenured commitment. He tweeted on Friday that he is 1,000,000 percent committed to the Tide and isn’t going anywhere.

Pruitt, in his introductory news conference on Thursday, said one of his top priorities when it comes to recruiting for the Volunteers was to make sure the top players in Tennessee didn’t leave for schools outside the state borders. It looks like Davis won’t be flipping to play for the in-state school. He plans to sign during the early signing period and will enroll at Alabama in January."

If you're so confident about your teams recruits, why do you feel the need to rush in here 'to the rescue' when one of them gets mentioned?

Sad but funny..
