He was. Committed to UT out of high school, grades kept him out, went to JUCO, then UT. But he had 3 years of eligibility when he got to UT...can't remember if he redshirted a year in JUCO or if he just went one year. I think it was the former.

They're still there. My cousin is a proud alum and they have football reunions every year. They're just not the power they once were...I think because schools like IMG are taking talent from the prep/military schools.
