And A&M and Miami say hello to YOU from theirs... chief.Lol. This is cute. Saban and Smart say hi from their thrones chief.
Why use an official visit then? Could it be something happened on an OV and now some programs are becoming aware of it? Just weird that so many schools changed their minds at once on him.Bama cooled on him last week now we have. Gotta think this is a direct effect of the portal. Lots of the Analysts were saying these kids need to get in quick or they will lose spots and he may be one of them. Sad that two or three weeks ago he could likely have been a commit to either school now he may fall to South Carolina or worse.
Coach Garner ostensibly visited him about a month ago so I am having a hard time digesting the weight theory.Surely Coach Garner would have raised the red flag at that point and cancelled his OV. There may be other reasons for not taking him but the weight reason just does not wash.A JUCO guy showing up at 265 that was supposed to be around 300 pounds is concerning. That's just too much of a discrepancy. Especially if it's not an extremely lean and fit 265.

RC doesn’t say something without it being 100% fact. Haven’t seen the actual quote though.Coach Garner ostensibly visited him about a month ago so I am having a hard time digesting the weight theory.Surely Coach Garner would have raised the red flag at that point and cancelled his OV. -APNo…they would take davis over DL and I don’t think they are taking Davis
-HubbsYou gotta remember official visits are different than unofficials where there's a bunch of guys here. You are around the prospect much more. You can't work them out but you do more measurables and testing and a more detailed history things, etc. You get to know them better, etc, etc.
That's why coaches like out of season officials better than in-season because of the time you get around them and the information you can gather.
And after this weekend, we don't believe Davis is a take at this point.
