“Some schools died down. Some schools are still recruiting me,” said Henry, who’s ranked the No. 3 overall junior-college prospect and No. 1 juco inside linebacker in the industry-generated 247Sports Composite for the 2019 class.
“But it’s still the same with Tennessee. They’re still on me. … The only visit I’ve set up for right now is Tennessee, and that’s for November 3rd.” The 6-foot-1, 230-pound Henry said he won’t be able to attend any of Tennessee’s home games before that weekend because he has “a game every Saturday” over the next couple of months.
While Auburn and Alabama still are recruiting him, and he said he hears from Texas A&M and Texas “a little bit,” he might not take any official visits to other schools. “I really don’t even think so,” Henry said. “If I do, it’s going to be, like, two schools, if that. I don’t want to just not be able to take all my family (on visits), because I want to take my family to places they’ve never been before. I can’t take that many people on (official) visits. The maximum is, like, three counting yourself.”
Henry announced his commitment to the Vols on May 20, just eight days after he visited Tennessee for the first time. At the time he revealed his choice, he was coming off back-to-back trips to Nebraska and Ole Miss.
