Math does suck, and it's hard.

I hate math
Or they have a legitimate learning disability. Calling them stupid is a bit harsh dont you think? If a student athlete can't pass a class in college........well.......they are just plain stupid or just don't care.
FREE tutors and all the extra help you need surrounds them.
To quote Judge Smails, "The world needs ditch diggers too."
if so, shouldn't be in college
I edited the word "stupid." That was harsh on my part and should have chosen my words better.Even though I completely disagree with that, still doesn't absolve calling someone stupid because they struggle with grades any less ridiculous.
Hey. I'm not going to get a debate about this here. Not the place. I probably should have kept my fingers off the keyboard. You are a moron if you think this... CP a few years ago had a legit learning disability. He stayed in college long enough to go pro. I’d say CP is doing just fine making millions for the Patriots right now. Some of these kids come from areas that lack strong public schools. Saying a kid shouldn’t go to college because they struggle to pass is both foolish and ignorant. Some of these cats have no foundation to build upon when they get to college, so they literally start from the bottom and work their way up.
Well put. I said I was sorry and shouldn't have posted that.So a person who was a gifted writer who struggled with math and science shouldn’t be in college? What if a person had the ability to find cures for disease but was dyslexic? Your comment managed to reach that rare level of both uninformed and douchy.
And if you come from a family that doesn’t prioritize education then what? Is it up to a 5 year old to be responsible enough to take school seriously when nobody around them does? Is a baby supposed to read themselves bedtime stories? I’m sure from kindergarten to third grade you made the conscious and responsible decision to teach yourself to read all by yourself. Your take screams of privelage while at the same time taking the privelage away from someone else. There’s so much more to learning than just sending a kid to school. Just because kids all over the country use the same books, that doesn’t mean that the playing field is levelHey. I'm not going to get a debate about this here. Not the place. I probably should have kept my fingers off the keyboard.
That being said........Everyone in public schools from Brentwood to South Central LA has books that have the same info in them.
