'19 JUCO WR Javonta Payton (Tennessee commit)

I definitely think we need 1 more WR with Taylor and Thompson being on Defense. I could easily see J Jones, M Gray, and L Williams transferring out. That leaves Tillman as the only WR not an upper classman.

Actually I would like to know why someone posts that a recruit is not coming. If there is a reason they are saying it other than it's a gut feeling, I would like to know. But maybe that's just me.
It’s probably to say don’t get your hopes up. Specifically for bass. If you take 5 seconds to look at his 247 profile the top article is Bama/Auburn battle. There’s your answer.

247 isn't always up to date... we are "cool" on OP and Pickens, but its a consensus here on volnation that he's (OP) coming to the hill... Screenshot_20181120-001845_Chrome.jpgScreenshot_20181120-001835_Chrome.jpg

FYI I've never been big on Maleik even though he's our commit. I've said I don't think he has the instincts to be elite. He's more athletic than Jacoby which is why I'm less critical. But I've said he doesn't look like a top 100 player.

IMO Theo Jackson is the best DB prospect in the state for 2017. Gray is more athletic but has no insticts. Stevens has instincts but no athleticism.

Jackson is the best blend of athleticism and instincts.

You can just call me Nostradamus.

I was 100% right about Jacoby Stevens and Maleik Gray being busts eventhough they were highly rated recruits.

Stevens has "no athleticism"?? Lol.

"Stevens, who hails from Murfreesboro in Tennessee, soared 11 feet, four inches in a recent standing broad jump. Is that a big deal? Consider the following:

The nations No. 1 athlete vaulted farther with that effort than any NFL prospect did at the 2016 combine.

The Oakland High School star wears a size 14 shoe. Thats not exactly ideal aerodynamics to fly high and far.

Was that his personal best? The result of weeks of intensive training that would make even Batman (check out those cleats) sweat? Nah. That was my first time trying it, Stevens said. Simply put, hed never practiced or trained for the standing broad jump before. Thats all raw talent and explosiveness there."

Look D4H, none of us knows what type of college football player they kid is gonna be and you're certainly welcome to your opinion. But to say he has "no athleticism"? Come on man.

What did I tell you about Jacoby Stevens?

Never doubt me again.
