Told us about Brad Kaaya and Kevin Hogan too...boy have they redefined suctitude!
They are currently in the NFL and as QBs have a lot of time left in their careers to make it big. Remember Kurt Warner rose to stardom at 28 years old after spending years out of the NFL. They have time.
In college you only have 4 years of eligibilty. Jacoby Steven's time is already almost up.
Goff is a superstar who makes you look goofier every week...I know I know...McVay...blah blah smoke blah mirrors. Why did McVay wait so long to draw up that game winner? Why not do it earlier? They are currently in the NFL and as QBs have a lot of time left in their careers to make it big. Where were Mahommes and Goff on your draft analysis. I didn’t get all of it quite committed to memory.
To be fair, I think he was on board with Mahomes. He was no Dobbs or Kaaya...but a potential starter in a non-HOF caliber.![]()

So you were right about the prediction that looks to be correct but still in wait and see mode about the one that appears to be wrong. Yeah, that seems about right for you.You can read right here what I thought about Patrick Mahomes before the draft: D4H's 2017 NFL Draft Preview
I had Mahomes rated as an ELITE prospect in the 2017 NFL Draft that had All-Pro/Pro-Bowl potential.
In 2016, I had Jared Goff rated as a surefire bust. And I still stand by that assesment. What we are witnessing right now with Goff is a mirage. His success the last two years are a by-product of Sean McVay's genius system and the fact the Rams are absolutely loaded with talent. Top to bottom they have the most talented roster in the NFL. They've been able to asseme this all-star roster because Goff is still on his rookie deal.
Once the Rams have to start paying Goff $30 million/year, as is now customary of most "franchise QBs", look for his to fall of massively. Once he gets paid like a franchise QB, the Rams won't have the ability to build a Super Team around him. Goff will have to start carrying his own weight. And once that happens he will regress back to the bust he was as a rookie.
Don't say I didn't warn ya'll about this Jared Goff mirage.

Already strung together two great seasons in a row together (unlike Dak) and those “All-Stars” weren’t so until he was...Peyton Manning effect. Peyton Manning had all these WEAPONS who weren’t so for other teams. You picked two stinkers who can’t even stick on a roster, much less shine because of smoke and mirrors. Sit this one out, it was among your worst calls.Just don't say I didn't warn you about Goff when he starts looks like a scrub again in 2-3 years when the Rams are paying him $30 mil/yr like he's a franchise QB when he's really a system player that only looks good when surrounded by a LOADED roster.
Think Dak Prescott in his rookie year. That is what Jared Goff is right now. Once the Dallas o-line stopped being the most dominant unit in football the real Dak Prescott was exposed. Similarly, look for the real Jared Goff to be exposed when the Rams don't have an All-Star team surrounding him.
You won’t be around. That is if you are truly a man of your word because Dobbs will go belly up in comparison to your projection and you promised to never make grand projections again when that one fails. You can read right here what I thought about Patrick Mahomes before the draft: D4H's 2017 NFL Draft Preview
