Just embarrassing

This loss will be a set back for the program. It was embarrassing for us and the SEC. We pump our chest how bad the SEC is and then you don’t even show up to play the biggest game of the year. I don’t see Heupel recovering from this. Next year will probably be an 8-4 9-3 year if that. The seat will start getting hot for him
It's not setting the program back. Silly notion

The 2 most concerning things from last night IMO were the fact that we looked not only ill prepared but, we looked disinterested. Both are hard to explain but how we just didn’t “show up” is baffling. Part of it was the game was too big for the staff and players but you have to show some kind of fight.

Reason we lost was their qb. Played like crap vs Michigan but was spot on vs us. He looked like the 5 star instead of 3 star and Nico looked like the 3 star..who can run but not pass.

That looked like one of the 2011-2013 teams. Total humiliation for the players and fanbase.
100%. I'm not mad that we lost. I'm mad that we were totally unprepared and didn't even compete. Being competitive in these games is all we, as fans and boosters who donate money (in my case and others) can ask for. To look as inept as we did last night is unacceptable, and that's on both the players and coaches.

There need to be some serious conversations/actions taken about the play calling on offense. It's been an issue for two years now.
What changed in the two years? Plays are still there to be called. Hyatt didn’t take those plays with him to NY, but the ability to call them left when nobody took his spot.

Our DL has been overrated all year. Very seldom did they hurry or sack the qb. Look at OSU hurrying our qb all night with just 4 rushing. Very weak lb play all season. Overrated defense all year. JH is not an offensive guru.

I’m not calling for coaching changes other than WM and Elarbee, but that’s not gonna happen. Be content with 9-3 every year.

If we had made it close I would be feeling a lot better, but to be embarrassed this bad is sickening.
so now I know how TCU felt.
Yeah, this is the worst embarrassment since Butch took the boys out to Oregon for that race and pillage. But, the good news is, were not Alabama knocked out because we lost to Vanderbilt!

Smart had them in the NCG year 2. Roster may have been deeper but it took adjustments and correct reads for play calling to get them there. Two things we’ve yet to see out of Heup & company.

Two of the top states to pull talent from.
ha! True that. I know recruiting is critical, but we need to upgrade the coaching. Having a bunch of 5 stars isn't going to solve the problem.

If you cant inspire these boys to play, and cannot teach them how to get into the NFL, they are just gonna portal away.

If a coach has to inspire a player to play at a high level like last night then we have the wrong players. If we get 3-4+ players drafted each year our coaches are doing better than majority of the teams out there. The bulk of the roster isn’t going pro.
