He is not a man of GOD, he forgot what he was doing must have been on some medicine.:clapping:

The guy just mangled a few words and suddenly he's not a man of God? If you are going to use communication skills as the standard for being in good graces with God, I'd highly recommend editing some of your recent posts ASAP.

MillsfieldVol/HardOnVolsSteve is under the impression that we should salute the flag at gunpoint.

That's not freedom, Steve.

As a veteran, I can tell you that my oath was to defend the Constitution, including the 1st Amendment, which gives people the right to dissent. When we make our symbols inviolable under pain of imprisonment or even death, we become no different than our enemies.

Michael Savage interviewed someone who had researched Obama's background, and discussed this subject at length a couple of nights ago. Basicly his father was a muslim, he lived in Indonesia until his parents divorced, where he was raised a muslim. I think this was at around 6 I remember correctly.

There is a lot of fact in the article. There is also a clear intent of the article. Although factual representations were intended, a poor expression nonetheless. Not an Obama supporter, but not a supporter of such tactics as well. It has been "reported" that he refused to be sworn in on the Bible, but chose the Koran. It is also "allegedly" true that he has been seen and videoed not participating in the pledge. I have seen the clip on the news before, but don't know the validity or the context. It is also true that he now claims some christian faith be it Methodist or United CoC. I have never seen anything on turning his back on the flag.

:salute: :salute: First thing , Mr. MG , I would like to thank you for your service to this wonderful nation ! I don't think anyone reading this would disagree that Steve is very passionate about this country , also anyone who comes on here and thinks that the man they support has all the answers is sadly mistaken . I still have no idea which one of the bozo's I'm going to vote for but with the knowledge of obama's raising in
a muslem enviornment and the terroist claiming to be muslem's themselve's it wont be :naughty: HUSSEIN !!! :naughty:

What's funny is that in the video of Obama standing without his hand over his heart during the National Anthem. He is clearly singing.

Den, all these things are going to hurt him in the long run, if OLD folks, ever hear he is not being patriotic, they will never vote for him.Imagine the VETS that will be outraged, let alone us here in the south. How can this be good for anyone in this great nation of ours! NOW! How about them apples.

I still don't see how Obama is being unpatriotic. Steve and Den, neither of you would vote for him anyway so why pile on? I'm a veteran and while I have my own differences of opinion with Obama none of them involve his patriotism, or lack thereof.

We want our opponent's past to matter, but we seem willing to gloss over the past of our preferred candidate. I've been guilty of that, particularly in 2004 (although I despise John Kerry regardless of his past). Obama seems to be more distanced from his own past (ie, not letting it define him) than either Ron Paul or Mike Huckabee.

There's plenty to take Obama to task for without making up dumb stuff like this.
