I have a good friend at church that goes to UT. He played football in high school, but never got to play in college. Anyways, he's made a few friends on the UT football team. We were talking about the coaching search and I was talking about how we're probably gonna end up with Golden and he said he didn't think so. He then said that one of his friends, currently on the team, said Fisher has been hired. Don't shoot the messenger, this is just what I heard from him tonight :corso:

I'm good with Fisher. Source is so-so, but always like people passing information

Met with Gundy today. Doubt fisher has been hired season isn't over for them yet.

Listen, I've known this guy for since middle school. He has never lied to me and he's as serious as a fan can be of football. And as much stuff as I've seen about Fisher wanting to be in the SEC, this seems like the perfect job...even better than Auburn

Seems legit, but on a more truthful note. TN>Burn...they are a disaster with the boosters.

Skeeter on here last night said golden and Davis were out. I think Gruden is out. Skeeter thought Gundy was just trying to get away raise to stay at osu

Paterson stays at tcu. Mullins to Colorado.

So I think Charlie or Jimbo make the most sense.




But it changes every day. Hart will interview some dudes in new York this week. I bet we have one in place by friday

I would be ambitious enough to say we may have someone in place by Wednesday or Thursday, given the rapid nature that he's gone through these interviews will the top of the list candidates...but Friday certainly seems reasonable.

Fisher makes the most sense as he wants out of FSU and has a connection with Hart from his days there.. Would help our recruiting in FL. Still bothers me he lost to NC St. ( heck, even Dooley beat them) as well as Florida.

I would rather have Charlie Strong ... don't really know why but he just seems like the right guy at the right time in his career. Whoever it is will have my full support as a Vol fan, of course. Just hope that Hinshaw, Graham, and Pittman stay.

Someone told me there is a holiday or something like that coming up. I've only paid attention to VN for the last few weeks so I'm a bit behind. Let me know about this holiday thing or whether or not we are at war with Canada. Seriously, I'm just focused on this coaching situation. Thanks.

Hope he brings good DC and crew. His current will be losing at Kentucky.
Side note... Bob Stoops called his brother Mark and stated Kentucky, change your last name. FOR THE SAKE OF THE STOOPS NAME?

I'd give bank to Fisher, Mora, or Strong. I'd really consider Fedora heavily too. I hope it's Fisher, Mora, or strong at this point. If we have to drop below them I'd go with Fedora.
