Just quit my job at Nissan and all I can say is SCREW THEM. They wrote me up for parking in a compact car space when i drive a 2 door 2012 mustang coupe, wrote me up for being in the hospital and we're complete *******s literally made fun of me because my dad passed away. Have 3 offers on the table that are all a little less money than Nissan and I'll take them any day of the week. Just thought I would give yall some future advice if Offered by them.

They wrote you up for being in the hospital?? I'm sure there is much more to the story. A compact car is anything that is FWD and V6 or less....again, I'm sure there is more to the story. Congrats on getting another job though

Maybe he didn't bring a note back??

I was listening to radio today while at work and they stated that sick days on average cost companies 267 million a year in revenue.

Is that because they have to pay for paid sick leave? Not sure what your point would be here......I'm probably just missing it.

Probably the vacation paid covering the absences plus the overtime paid to other employees who cover for the absent employees

Yes. Paid sick leave and/or to cover the missing employee.

Not including FMLA pay. It can add up I guess.

I brought a doctors note and the hospital called them. I got wrote up. I have a v6 coupe and got wrote up for parking in a compact car space. I had appendicitis and yet they still wrote me up. Worst place to ever work at.

No it was seriously unpaid leave. Didn't get paid for that day and yet still got wrote up. Still had a doctors note and everything

Trust me. Go work at a Japanese car factory. See how messed up it is. I had 2 weeks of vacation and yet the wrote me up for taking an unpaid day off in the hospital

I love my credit union.

:)
I wish mine was anywhere close to where I live now..
If I get the job I got lined up, I'll have free checking due to direct deposit with the local bank. Tried to open an account with a local credit union but couldn't.

Sorry to hear about this GB. Sounds like they really wanted to part ways. I say you take the high road and kick ass at your new career. Leave them out of your head and let it die. Nothing good will come of it.

Credit unions have certain requirements to join. (Which I'm sure you are aware) keep looking around until you find one that works for you.

Well worth it IMO.

Thank you buddy. That truly made my day. Appreciate it. They were very wrong to me. I made sure they knew to

I have people complain that I "wrote them up" for no reason, or things that weren't their fault, often. There's always a reason and it's always their fault. There's always two sides to the story.
