Just so you all know, the entire SEC especially LSU and UGA are praying that we don't make the playoffs

we did work on our quick outs vs mo. this week.kept in front of the chains and mixed in a few quick deep strikes.i'm guessing that was in preparation for the rematch.usually hype can scheme weaknesses during a game, yall just didnt have much to exploit.[/QUOTE
You are describing the Mississippi State offense

Man, i havent been SEC, SEC, SEC in a long time. All those fanbases have done nothing but make fun of us and kick UT they were at their lowest. They can all kiss my ass. With all due respect to them.
Don't worry this is the main reason why we're gonna drop 60+ vs the SEC for 3 straight weeks. All Gas no Breaks. Basically.......F@#k Em!!! GBO.

Honestly, we tackled very well on the short throws and either played well on the long throws or got lucky with Hendon overthrowing. Some due to pressure for sure. It’s a different game with different schemes if we go at it again. If Hendon has time it certainly changes things. Our dbs are very good, but so are your receivers.

The thing that Georgia does better than anyone in the country defensively is tackle, which makes putting long drives together very difficult, as we found out in Athens. I have a feeling that Heupel will have a very different plan if there is a rematch with more downfield throws and deep shots.

It will come down to the OL providing Hendon the time for deep patterns to develop. And not playing behind the chains all day due to penalties would help immensely.

Same reason 2 loss Bama is ranked over Clemson. And I’m dying to know what the vote was for USC over Bama.

It’s very clear the committee is picking teams based on quality of wins and who they view as better. The only exception is TCU. They would be huge underdogs vs any of the top 8. They are P5 undefeated. If they lose, they are toast. Total vanity ranking.
Go Baylor

And you know what i say? **** em.

Considering who LSU is playing in Atlanta, they have almost zero shot at it.

TCU is above us, but still needs to face Baylor and win its conference championship game. The loser of Ohio State/ Michigan won't get in imo.

The biggest threat is a potential 1 loss oac 10 champion like USC especially imo.

It’s just the troll brigade on SECRant. The rest hope the Vols make the playoffs to bump up their Bowls.

Let's see, you were averaging 50 points a game going in and Dawgs held you to 13.

Who was the best team last year? DAWGS!
Who is the best team this year? DAWGS!

Honestly, I would love to expose OSU most because we haven't played them and I think the Big Ten is overrated... BUT after reading these boards, another game against the Vols would be enjoyable.

Tennessee man talking about... muh stats, muh points, muh highlights, muh ranked wins, muh heisman hopeful...

Bottom line, you're not beating Georgia with that pass defense, not happening.

The Dawgs are looking at your mediocre secondary and licking their lips! Just more Dawg food!
Awwww did I hurt it's little puppy feelings telling you you're not a dynasty like you think you are?🤣. It's very telling that you come to a Tennessee board to try to convince yourself that you're not worried about a rematch on a neutral field 🤣. I know you want to lick yourself, but I want you to bark at me, cause it's hilarious that you think it's intimidating 🤣

They care. Every sports page on social media is full of puppy fans worried Tennessee doesn't get in. A lot even saying they shouldn't because they already lost to Georgia, while forgetting your one title in 41 years came because of a rematch after Alabama spanked that butt in the sec championship. You guys are here on a Tennessee board, trying to convince us you aren't worried acting like you're a dynasty 🤣. One title isn't a dynasty, LSU and Ohio state are recently more dynasty programs than Georgia. I get it, I live here, see the delusion first hand every day. You're like Kentucky basketball fans for the past 5 years. Can't accept anyone beating you, even playing close. It's always "we beat ourselves ", "it was rigged ", etc. Now, go ahead and bark at me to "scare me off"🤣
But Tennessee neither beat nor played UGA close so I’m confused at what you’re getting at here.

You could win 10 NCs and uga is still trash.

Trust me, uga fans, no one in here respects your program. NO one is in the least bit intimidated by your team. Look at Hooker’s tweet immediately after our game. You didn’t impress or scare him one iota. You didn’t scare anyone on our team. That’s not who they are. They just want another crack at you.

Edited to make it less mean-spirited.
This is truly hilarious. If Hooker was so confident after the game why didn’t he do anything ya know…during the game? Twitter means nothing

Oh look, another Georgia fan who isn't worried, yet on a Tennessee board for some odd reason! I'm saying by the logic of Georgia fans saying Tennessee doesn't deserve a playoff spot, Georgia shouldn't have last year. You didn't beat Alabama in the SEC championship, so by their thinking, they shouldn't have been in the playoffs. Not that Georgia fans are known for thinking anyway.

In the past six years Kirby has taken UGA to the playoffs three times. That looks like a pattern and not luck. He must be doing something right it must be building something fairly strong especially after losing 15 players in NFL last year and still being ranked number one this year
Saban went to 9/12(3 were BCS, so required top 2) and won 6/12, the comparison isnt close. Since he arrived, Kirby has not lacked talent. Georgia has been #4-#2 in talent every year he's been there, and the East sucked for a decade. No comparison.

Anyone with a good offense is licking their chops to get at our secondary

Good Golly. I have never seen so many fans of any school who seem to find it necessary to post crap on a rivals forum.

Kudos to @Freak for allowing opposing fans to post here, because on any other forum, trash like this would get a poster banned.

Ask yourselves: why do you never see this crap from Florida fans? Bammers? UK fans?? Auburn?? LSU??

Because those fanbases don't see a need for constant affirmation of their relevance. Don't get me wrong, I detest Florida and Bama like any good Vol should, but I respect the programs and generally get alog ok with the fans. Pure bandwagon Bama fans can be irritating, but the old time Bammers are generally OK.

uga fans are truly very special little snowflakes, constantly needing affirmation and to beat their little chests about how they are the bestest at everything.

Bless your hearts.

He played the game, he competed, and never backed down. Our players are not in fear of anyone, including uga. Like any good competitor, if you lose a game, you want another crack at it to win, using what you learned. Why do uga fans seem to feel a need to believe everyone 'fears' them and doesn't want a rematch if they lose a game to uga?

Y'all are just truly special. Bless your hearts.

So you're saying that getting in the playoffs three out of six years is not an accomplishment? What did Saban do in his first seven years as a coach? There are only three coaches that have 12 wins in three seasons or more in the history of the SEC. Kirby would be one of those three. Kirby has won the SEC East and then to the SEC championship game five out of the seven years he has been there so I'm not understanding how he is not building a program like his mentor Nick Saban did. Kirby was Nick's most trusted assistant for years. You've got to be in it to win it and Kirby certainly has put UGA in the position to win it a lot in his first seven years as a coach. You can hate him all you want but you can't deny his accomplishments. He did just win the national championship last year and you have to start somewhere don't you? What would have said to Nick Saban after he won his first national championship with Alabama? Would you be saying about him what you're saying about Kirby? Sounds like sour grapes to me and any Tennessee fan would be thrilled to have the record that Georgia has had over the past six years and playing the games that they have played in. So Kerby has been to two national championships in the last three years and he's won one so his batting average is 500.

You nailed it, they're all over social media big mad because people are talking more about Tennessee than them. They feel like everyone should be in awe of them, we're not, so they're creating accounts on our board to pound their chest. Puppy fans, they're special 🤣

Ok buddy, i can see you have your dander up, no offense intended, just friendly banter. Honestly I’m concerned about playing your Vols again. You guys have a really good offense and that concerns me. I hope we see a rematch.

OK. Now that was a reasonable, cogent, normal response from a rival fan. Trust me, no dander has been harmed in the making of this exchange! If only uga fans would approach things that way, instead of the constant crap and need for affirmation.

I hope we have a rematch as well. Would Tennessee win this time? Would uga win again? I don't know. What I do know is saying a team 'fears' another team or 'wants no part of a rematch' is absurd. Right now, if you asked the MO team if they want another crack at Tennessee, I would hope to a man they would say 'hell yeah!'

Have a good day.

The time and energy you guys spend posting on another school's forum desperately seeking affirmation is astounding. We don't see this kind of garbage from any other SEC fan base, all of whom aren't defending national champs. I actually feel a little sorry for you.

Dead on. If Tennessee had won a NC last year, I cannot imagine myself on a "Dawg(Insert Noun Here)" board arguing how great we are and how it is really bad that uga fans won't bow down to us. I'd be here, whooping it up with fellow Vols, and just generally enjoying the heck out of it.

I just don't get this need for affirmation. You didn't see Bammers, Clemson folks, or OSU fans doing this. It's just.......odd.

Lol, no what I'm saying is Georgia fans claiming they are the new Bama, when Kirby finally won his first game in his 5th attempt vs Saban, is a little premature. A large part of Kirby's record has been how bad the East has been too. Tennessee would be thrilled to have the in-state recruiting Georgia has, but I think a lot of coaches can beat inferior talent.

Counting your chickens before they eggs hatch, I see. You still have 3 games to play before that 3rd invitation happens. Yes UGA should probably win those - but stranger things have happened.

This! If folks are honest about UGA's success over the last 4 or 5 years, playing in the weaker SEC East has contributed to the success.

This year is somewhat different, you have UGA and TN in the east and LSU and Bama in the west. UGA has yet to play either of the two best teams from the west. TN has played both and won. UGA will get their chance at LSU in the championship game to prove they too can beat a top team from the west.
