Jacob Rudock 2011 QB 6′2″ 170: Rudock looks like he will be the quarterback for STA this coming fall. He throws the ball with some zip, and is a threat to run the ball as well. One of very few questions coming into this season for STA was the quarterback position, and Rudock looks he will fill in that void nicely.

How do you define hard? I've heard the opposite -- that they are in "wait and see" mode with him. If he doesn't earn the starting job at some point this year, there won't be enough to go on and there's no way he ends up at Tennessee. He may get a better offer than Stanford at some point, but that's his best and only offer so far.

I define "hard" by him receiving letters and talking to Gran at least once a week on the phone...

Well then we're going after about 150 players in the nation "hard."

That's not hard recruiting, it's just responsible recruiting. We talk to around 15 QBs once a week.

I believed you addressed this before, but I can't recall the details. What is the story with Tyler Shreve? I thought there was strong interest in him (and the expectation of offers) from several schools at one time. But, looks like he only has one offer at this point. Can you lend your thoughts?
