Just to Put it All In Perspective....

Miami just lost to Wake who is awful, meaning that **** happens Lol. It's only one bad loss, compared with a few last year. Those losses were much worse last year as well.

I know. I've stated multiple times, that this loss won't keep us out by itself. I just stated that it is a bad loss, plain and simple. Nothing more, nothing less.

What CAvol's saying is that Richardson picked up his 4th foul early in the 2nd half. It would have been a tall task to ask him to guard Turner all second half and four OTs without committing his fifth foul in doing so. This is why McBee guarded for the large majority of the 2nd half and first 2 OTs.

Ran the stats. McBee didn't do as bad as he looked.
We won.

True. McBee was able to stay in front of Turner, which is improvement. Turner was just able to shoot over him. Richardson is 4" taller, and tired legs for Turner made getting his shot off cleanly difficult late in the game.

Turner had very few good looks against McBee. Most of his shots McBee was right in his face, hands in his face, etc that Turner just happened to keep hitting. Turner looked like Lofton. I'd take that effort from McBee every day, along with Martin's judgement over yours.

Okay...if you watched the game you noticed that when the taller Josh Richardson was guarding Turner that none of his shots were falling. The extra 2 inches was enough to through off the fall way jumpers.

So, you mention one good loss ( GTown), but forgot to mention, but have now remembered to mention, Memphis, Virginia, and UK@Rupp? And Alabama was "questionable" in your original post, but now that loss doesn't count either?

Sorry, but you are all over the place, and you seem to place value solely on the losses that fit your agenda.

Arkansas at home, is nearly unbeatable this year. In fact, they have lost once, to #6 Syracuse. They have an average margin of victory at home of 17 ppg overall, and 10 ppg in conference play. Had we lost to them at home, I'd agree with you. They rolled Florida by 21 points in Fayetteville, so to minimize that loss as some sort a black mark on our record is silly.

I'm not running for president so I really don't try to fact check myself before every post. But thanks for play volnation forum police, you're services are greatly appreciated.

Thank you. Reading comprehension is a challenge on this board.

Did anyone watch the game? Richardson had 4 fouls from 17:00 on in the second half. Absolutely clueless post.

Thank you. Apparently some people think it's bad coaching to have not just let Josh foul out at the 15:00 minute mark or so trying to guard Turner.

Not so clueless when he's right. About that game only.
Richardson played the last 2 ots with 4 fouls and gave up 4 points to turner.
McBee was usually laying at his feet as he shot.

This might have been as much fatigue on Turners fault as anything on Josh's part. Turner played almost the whole game.

Wow. You can't be serious. So what, you just post whatever comes to mind without regard to whether there is a shred of truth to it? What a joke. How anyone would take you seriously from this point is beyond me.

I personally quit taking him serious a long time ago. I don't think I'm the only one.

Just your everyday VolNation post, that's all this is.

I didn't realize possessing common knowledge (such as Arkansas's home record this year) required such extensive efforts of "fact-checking". I always thought a couple strokes of the keyboard and 20 seconds of time sufficed for such laboriously tiresome tasks.

Haha. This is funny. Who cares about the actual facts?

As poster above says...typical for the board.

No fact check?

Actually, if you watched, Richardson gave up some of Turner's first few field goals. Skylar gave up some in the middle of the game when Richardson picked up fouls. But Skylar did not give up a field goal for the last 12 minutes of regulation. Turner had 4 free throws. Lets not let any facts get in the way.
