Just trying to understand the "we can't fire Zo if we make tourney in any capacity"

Doesn't need to be an elite defender. He needs to be a competent defender. He isn't.

Carmelo isn't a defender at all, and neither is Jamal Crawford or Marshall Henderson for that matter. While I am not sure about Jordy's future, that is not the best argument. I agree he needs a little better handle (better than Hopson's though), and his passing needs to improve. But his athleticism and long range shooting should get him looks.

I dont agree with Ronny's assessment of Mcrae but most of the mock drafts I have seen lately dont have Mcrae in the draft and the ones that do have him in the late second round.

Not for his coaching ability he wasn't

To be honest,I didnt hear what Martin or stallings said but Stallings praising our coach with his obvious dislike of Tennessee is worrisome. Buzz and Wade was both praised for the jobs they were doing when the heat was on....It was obvious other coaches didnt want Tenn to make a change.

I dont really remember other coaches praising each other except for mundane coach speak.

IIRC, Saban recommended Dooley to Hamilton. I wonder why. I betcha its the same reason some are praising Martin.

I want a coach that every other coach in the SEC can't stand because he's kicking their asses on a regular basis & making them like it!!

I don't think McRae will get drafted, though have to admit I haven't looked at anything about the draft, and don't watch nba anymore, outside of the playoffs, so it's just a guess. Not sure who he would guard. Hope he does of course. There will be more SPACE for him at the next level. It'll come down to his d, ballhandling, and stretching his 3 out a couple more feet. I notice he's been pulling up a little deeper lately when he's feeling it and not toeing the line as much, so he's thinking about it, which he should. Hell, if you can hit from the hash, shoot it from the hash.

I don't agree with this, but I don't have a great deal of confidence he can hit a clutch shot when you need it.

He's a trash bucket king. He also disappears in big games, especially on the road. I'd love for him to get into the league. But it's not happening.

He dissapeared at LSU? At UK? At Bama? At Xavier? At Wichita State?

1-7 from 3 against UK with 4 turnovers just screams big game player to me.

I would suggest you continue to stare at RPI numbers. Because otherwise, you're a fraud that can't tell the difference between a basketball and Cuonzo.

still had 17 points.

26 vs Wichita.
23 at Xavier.
21 vs Virginia.
19 at LSU.
26 at Bama.

The only game your argument holds any kind of water is against Florida. The whole team and coaching staff no showed for Florida except for Jarnell. In our 6 biggest games other than the Florida game he's averaging 22 points per game.

Yeah, because hitting 3s is the only thing that matters in basketball. And you claim BTO knows nothing about the game.
