As a 55 year Vol fan that grew up and lived in Hokie country this is going to be an amazing event. Forget 2009 or any records when this game is played. For these young men to be playing in an atmosphere like this will be a lasting memory. Talking heads are saying they can't get 160,000 fans. HA With 100,000 rabid Vol fans and 80,000 Hokie fans this will be a scalpers paradise.
I have been talking about my twin grand sons been future Vols. They will be 5 years old then and we have decided this will be their 1st game since its only 60 miles from home. So I'm going after 6 tickets ASAP> :clapping:
Going to be great. GO VOLS!!!!!!!!

So, the ticket prices are $93.00 ? Am I reading this right on the game website?

Looking at the setup, the distance from the field will be awful. Ull be a half mile away in the turns...

Here's a picture from the seats along the sideline.

Secure you tix today with a $25 deposit for a game 3 years away.

Crazy.

Dumb idea, IMO. I foresee a major flop. They'll be giving tickets away in the weeks leading up to it. I see what they're aiming for, but when the best seats need binoculars.....

To me it does not matter the site line or distance of the game. Four will be traveling from Salem VA to see the game.. GO VOLs.......

I dont understand all the complaining about distance and all that. This is a really unique event worth going to just for the spectacle. I can say for certain that there is no doubt that I will be there just to see it and to root for the Vols.

It's going to be an experience...epic even..if it's the success that's generally expected...there will be a repeat event in our lifetime...but why take the chance...I'm discussing plans with family back in Tennessee...hell at worst, the tailgating would be memorable :)

I don't understand it either. It's like playing basketball in the lager domes and yet people still attend those games.
