MOS and BVS took themselves too seriously. WW still had a little Snyder influence but didn’t shy away form the “fun” elements of the genre.

I think Whedon is going to make this more fun but it still looks like a hot mess to me.

It is nonsensical if Batman is the he values life in this movie because he was the The Frank Miller Batman in the Superman vs Batman Dawn of Justice movie.

Aquaman can't wait he's a badass and has a great new design for his classic green Orange costume.

Batman is rich but that's not a damn power he has abilities which are skills and training including a brilliant mind, also a arsenal including almost unlimited resources because of his great wealth.

Getting pretty good reviews in China. Just waiting for the embargo to be lifted over here.

The embargo was lifted today around noon for social media reactions and everything I have read is generally positive.

Most say it does have some flaws (what film doesn't?) but is a very fun film and the bad is outweighed by the individual performances. Several also say you will get Superhero's doing epic Superhero stuff!

Most agree that Aquaman & Flash steal the show along with the banter back and forth between them and Batman who plays the straight man.

Most also say that Cyborg is the weak (character) link in the film. (as most were projecting)


One surprising thing is It has been confirmed that there are TWO Post Film scenes! One during the credits and one after credits scene! "Supposedly they are epic and teases the future"

Cyborg should have never been added to the JL line up. Not as a founding member anyway. It was a cheap way to add a black person on the team but takes away form the legacy of Teen Titans.

I’m sure Ezra Miller is funny in the movie. He is playing Peter Parker to Batman’s Tony Stark. That’s not Barry Allan though. And I know I’ve said it a few times already but that costume.... ugh.

I expect it to be better/more fun than BvS but I’m still not expecting much.

Flash is pretty much the only DC character I like and that suit almost makes me hate him. Idk who thought that was a good idea, but they should be fired. Lol

37% opening RT score... ouch.

BvS started in the low 50s before bottoming out a week later.

Collider movie talk gave it a luke warm endorsement. They said they enoyed it but didn’t sound super pumped either.

Planning on catching a matinee Saturday.

Currently sets at 3.2/5 on Letterboxd.com with (3,587) total votes. (568) 3/5 ratings and (562) 3.5/5 rating (464) 4/5 rating.

Most say its good not great but very enjoyable and that DC is still headed in the right direction with this and Wonder Woman.

Most say it feels disjointed at times but IMO that is expected with the change in director and re-shoots.

Also people are raving about what ever the after credit scene is a few saying they would re-watch the film again just to see that scene.

Fantastic movie . Only had some minor complaints and one scene felt incomplete . Other then that it was great

I'm just wanting to see a fun superhero flick, which is what this sounds like from what I've heard a few people say. I didn't expect it to score very high with all of the issues they faced in production, so it doesn't bother me.

If by people you mean a minority of fanboys, then yes. I've already read about the scene and if people are raving about that, then they are quite easily impressed.

I will say I liked this movie I am and have been a DC fan forever. I will also say this . There is a reason Gal Gadot threatened to walk away from Wonder Woman 2
if Ratpac\ Dune Entertainment had anything to do with it.

I went in expecting a movie with no plot and good action. I was still disappointed. Outside of Gal Gadot and the Flash, I found nothing about it enjoyable. I actually thought it was well casted, but it was just so corny. This is a random aside, but in 5 years all of these movies are going to look like cartoons because they are CG fests. This goes for Marvel as well.
