Only made $96 million in its opening weekend; worst opening for any of the DCEU.

It pisses me off they can’t get this right. It makes absolutely no sense that the Arrowverse is so engaging on a low budget TV network and outside of a period piece WW movie they cannot figure out the movies.

Justice League - 4/5

I thought overall it was a really fun and enjoyable film. Yes it has some problems especially with the mediocre villain but I thought it accomplished what it needed to and that was further move the DCEU in the right direction and it did that.

You can add in the fun factor and jokes and keep the dark "realistic" tone to the Universe.

I liked that they lightened the color palette so that the colors of the costumes etc. popped more than in BvS.

I also liked Cyborg more than I thought I would his interactions with Wally in a few scenes was great. Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman commands the film in every scene she is in and Aquaman is awesome.

I really hope Ben Affleck doesn't leave the DCEU as he is probably the best Batman/Bruce Wayne in live action we have gotten.

The scene with the mustache that everyone talked about online. Had I not been looking for it I probably would have never even noticed it. IMO

Neither me or my gf knew about this and we were both like what the hell is wrong with his face because he just looked weird. I thought he might have had plastic surgery or something, but after looking it up, it made sense.

Saw a headline this could be a 100million dollar dud for WB.

This could really put a damper on future plans. Obviously WW 2 is safe. Aquaman is already filming. Batman movies always find an audience. All the rest could easily be shelved at this point.

WB really screwed the pooch when they hitched their wagon to Snyder’s vision. It will be hard to recover from.

Yes, I know those are the plans, but those were the plans before the Justice Leauge came out. If people aren't going to go see a full fledged Justice League movie, they aren't going to go to see a lesser known DC person like Shazam.

Unless it’s in the middle of filming it can be abandoned.

Like how JL was planned as a 2 parter until BvS didn’t meet expectations. Then it became one film with a mandated running time of less than 2 hrs.

Exactly; just because they've planned and signed actors for roles in movies doesn't mean they have to make it; movies get cancelled all the time.

I'll be shocked if they offer anything up that isn't a main DC character movie for the next 5 years, unless something turns around majorly.

Planning on catching a matinee Saturday.

Currently sets at 3.2/5 on Letterboxd.com with (3,587) total votes. (568) 3/5 ratings and (562) 3.5/5 rating (464) 4/5 rating.

Most say its good not great but very enjoyable and that DC is still headed in the right direction with this and Wonder Woman.

Most say it feels disjointed at times but IMO that is expected with the change in director and re-shoots.

Also people are raving about what ever the after credit scene is a few saying they would re-watch the film again just to see that scene.

These people are called idiots. That scene isn't anywhere close to being good enough to sit through that 2 hour mess again.

It's a great movie and maybe the general public will stop seeing Aquaman as a joke character because this movie did him justice as a badass character.

Also Wonder Woman uses her lasso on crooks so they'll confess which isn't voluntary because the person is compelled to tell the truth so I imagine that will create legal problems.

As for the Box Office numbers, I think that has more to do with the previous DCEU films letting people down more than JL itself. A lot of guys and gals out there lost interest before this movie even had a chance.

I have never been a fan of Victor Stone especially when he isn't a younger guy with the Titans.

If they wanted a black hero, would have much preferred say Martian Manhunter or John Stewart Green Lantern.

The CW DC shows have been top notch when it comes to making the characters outfits look realistic.

Good points. Especially in regards to the CGI. That's one of my chief complaints with it- For a movie with an astronomical budget there's no reason some scenes should look so cheesy.

It was funny that they talked about Aquaman talks to fish.
This movie did justice for showing him as a badass, also all other super heroes did shine Flash, Cyborg, Superman, Wonder Woman, and Batman.

I don't understand why Batman seriously called Aquaman's weapon a Pitch Fork when it's obvious it isn't a Pitch Fork.

I assume what is getting formed is the Evil Version of the Justice League which is the Injustice League.
