Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg has passed away

The answer to forced pool segregation is forced pool integration.
They are in no way equally bad, not even remotely. In fact, one is even sort of good.

Public meaning taxpayer owned facilities should be colorblind. Privately owned facilities should be free to associate with whom ever they choose.

My daughter just sent this to me. Over the past few years she has developed great appreciation and respect for Dolly Parton, so this was from one icon to another in her eyes.

“She was small in stature but even the tallest looked up to her. Her voice was soft but her message rang loud and clear and will echo forever,” Parton wrote. “Thank you, RBG. Rest In Peace. Respectfully, Dolly Parton.”

It’ll be interesting to see how she’s treated and whether those tactics will be used on a Muslim candidate.

Yep, keep thinking that. This will play badly with Millennials, and don't get me started on Gen Z. Mitch will get his nominee, but he is destroying every road with us and them in the process.
No it won’t.
When you’re 50 years old you’re going to sound exactly like I do now.

If only there were really smart liberals there to guide them through the process we would still have unicorns and geese that laid each person a golden egg everyday . 😂

Just pointing out people's inconsistencies on majority rule.

I question this sentiment - was the constitution not a testament to deferring to the minority? The states with big populations (and therefore the majority) would definitely have preferred something different.

Keep hope alive.

That’s not hope , I had that when I voted Democrat. This is wisdom from experience and determination not to be sucked back into that ever “ evolving “ ideology that goes against what I believe in .

Yep, they were overruled by the majority who represented the minority.
Talk about ironic.
The minority used majority rule to make sure the majority wouldn't rule. And it came about over the objections of the minority who were there representing the majority.

I'm sorry you've lost hope. I would question any "wisdom" that led one to lose hope.
