Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg has passed away

I think you are wrong on that count. Your party is already radicalized; you may have defections of moderates, but other than that there's likely no returning to the center, reality, or to common sense. I'm as independent as they come, but there's not a chance in hell that I'll vote D - dems have generally made me a republican at heart. I don't for a second think I'm one of a kind on that either. I don't like Trump and can even agree with a lot of what you think about him as a person. As president, he's done what I wanted done. Obama and his "fundamental change" and the way dems managed when they held everything was the eye opener. That approach lost you the WH, the senate, and the house at varying times. My real problem is who the GOP selects as a presidential nominee next time because I'd bet they haven't fully understood and will go back to another namby-pamby career politician.

Same. I don't want another Trump in terms of personality and all, but I don't want to go back to the Bush way either.

A lot of those people have seen politicians from both parties send their jobs to other countries for years. They have seen their wages stagnate due to competition from illegal foreign workers. They have seen their medical costs soar to pay to take care of people who shouldn't be in the country in the first place. They have seen their sons and daughters fight endless wars for what, exactly? Are you that dense that you think they haven't seen what has been going on, and might take a chance and vote for someone who is at least gives them a voice?
Lol at most of that and Trump doesn't give them a "voice". He cares about no one but himself and certainly doesn't care about the common everyday man.

I too am a true independent but can never see myself ever voting republican. LOL
The movement will always be to the left.
New voters are added at a faster rate than old voters changing parties because they cannot keep up with the changing times.

Yeah, mostly incredibly sad that Trump beat your POS. You could have had a good candidate, but your party let leftists hijack the platform to get a bloc of votes, and then you had to let Clinton steal the nomination to keep them off the ballot. You reap what you sow, and your party sold it's soul to the devil at least twice.
Then how many times has your party sold theirs since the orange man has been in charge? Too many to count.

Jeb and Kasich wouldn't have won the nomination in 2016 anyways. Jeb proved to be too stupid and Kasich was basically a moderate Democrat. The nomination was a three man race between Rubio, Trump, or Cruz. Rubio and Cruz both would have been better than Hillary.

Better perhaps, but not winners. The other thing people have to figure out to run a successful election is to quit destroying the competition during the nomination process. Why do the other side's work for them? Trump literally crushed Cruz and Rubio - they were damaged goods in a race against Clinton. The dems were more of a platform thing - Bernie for the commies and Hiliary for the "moderates", and they threw the nominating process to keep Bernie out of the driver's seat because he had no chance.

Guarentee you Biden cares about them more than Trump. He is the dictionary definition of narcissist and all of you people have sold your souls to have a Republican in charge. It's sad really.
LMAO! Trump actually fulfilled campaign promises to improve people's lives before the covid thingy hit. The only lives that Old Joe has improved are his own and his family's.

I can find millions of people who would disagree with that first sentence, especially minorities. He has made their lives miserable with his racist and divisive statements and actions.

You mean how many time have R's made changes to undo damage your side inflicted? You'd have to be more specific.
Good night. Carry on the fight, or at least give the opposition some tissues to cry on. They are having a rough night.

Good night......and here comes the race card, once again, ladies and gentlemen. It is kept close to the heart of the dealer to whip into action, when he can't refute the facts and has no argument.

It is a strange conundrum. Trump's policies are of virtually no benefit at all to his base. Trump identified a core faction of Republicans that he could manipulate and pander toward: uneducated, white, low income, over 40. And while he stokes their fears and piques their resentments, his policies are of no use to them, but those people don't care because he says all of the things that they want to hear... and he pi$$es off liberals.

Those poor and oppressed who are trying to cross the southern borders, and probably the Chinese coolies working for nothing who lost jobs because of tariffs ... And remember BN worded it this way "He has made their lives miserable with his racist and divisive statements and actions." All those made miserable by Trumps words. That's sure to leave a mark.

Two awesome non biased sources there.
Doesn't change the facts. If he said it he said it and it doesn't matter which source reports it, so unless you have proof that he didn't make those statements then you are going to have to come up with a different argument. I'm not letting you people get away with the "evil liberal" media argument for everything anymore.
