Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg has passed away

I believe I saw a post that said is Trump still president and the senate still in session or something like that. Knowing your posting style I can easily believe that was a follow on post to a specific question. Knowing his posting style I can easily see him ignoring the initial question and focusing on the follow on poke. I’ll dig up some anonymous sources to back me up 😂
It was. It was in reference to the post he apparently wanted no part of since his entire scree hinges on whataboutism and since I'm not here to defend the Republicans, I'm immune to the intellectual laziness.

Wait there are posting styles ? 🤔

Yep

Oh and now that you’ve admitted to the follow on post even though he ignored the detailed question be prepared for a wall of text pedantic diatribe of epic proportions

I have written letters, made calls, sent e-mails.
More than that however, is the fact that I consider character a primary issue when picking a candidate.
I'm on record claiming that Jimmy Carter is the president I most admire and that I consider him one of the best presidents of my lifetime......knowing full well the kind of idiotic and shallow responses that will elicit from the peanut gallery.

LMAO.gif

I am. Still find it superior to the republican party on that all important continuum.
I knew that Trump would drag both parties further down than ever before.
Just as he has dragged the country down.
Again, anybody who did not see that inevitability is simply non-functioning.
To see that inevitability and still support him is what I've never been able to process.
Nah.... I find them on the same continuum if not worse..... Trump is not a great guy but he speaks his mind equally to white male, females, minorities, gays, and straight people.... I like that better than the democrats who typically dress nice.... speak from a teleprompter while lying and doing everything they can to get a vote..... nothing but a wolf in sheep’s clothing..... how many democrats have advocated to the public to harass republicans at their home and in public..... how many democrats made it appear they were completely ok with riots and looting until it looked like it might cost them votes.... They are FOS and you need to open your eyes.

Jimmy Carter should be on Mt. Rushmore.
The thing is, he would never think that nor would he have any desire to be; in fact, he would plead not to be.
Now compare that to the dotard.
Talk about opposite ends of the continuum.

Ignore above... I haven't checked my posts, so for all I know, my original questions weren't directed as him and I'm making uinfair accusations. If so, I apologize.

Trump should chisel his face up on Rushmore, too, before he gets the boot.

Blowing it up in 2021 would be a... blast.

From a personal character assessment, Carter is a good and decent man. Bush 1 was as well. Obama and Bush 2 seemed to have matured out of their 20s to become people of good character.

None of them were excellent presidents.

Clearly these parties are so very different. The choice is clear

No they are not , they both have and will continue to say and do things that’s in the best interest of the party . I find it amusing to watch some basically saying just because we do it did it doesn’t mean your party should , they should do the right thing or else .

And I said I would be FINE with a nomination now if the 2016 sh*tshow didn't happen. That changed the de facto rules. You can't say "we believe the people get the choice through the election" in 2016, deny garland a hearing, and then switch to the opposite position in 2020. The Dems are not the ones being inconsistent here.

The rules were written way before 2016 and are clear. The rules are also very clear on what it takes to change them. You simply want to stomp your feet and pretend the rules don't apply and that Dems aren't complete hypocrites. Both parties are!

There’s not a single liberal on this board going to watch that, or any video of their party saying those things . Lol
Republicans have zero credibility on this issue. Trying to call out hypocrisy after writing the book on this type of hypocrisy is just dumb. It won't play well with the public.

What ? You mean you weren't a fan of 16.5% mortgage rates, gas shortages and lines at the pumps and ole Jimmy C telling us what a good fellow Fidel Castro really is once you just talk to him ? Surely you can find excellence in in the peanut farmer from GA's presidency.

Show me where I’ve said it’s one side doing it and not the other . I’ll wait . I can and will call out hypocrisy on both sides , will you or the other liberals ?

Neither party has a leg to stand on yet their supporters are insistent on propping them up. Just let them fall over and we'll be better off
