The DA and the chick filling in for Art (forgot her name) want Boyd. Ralyan knew Ava was in a bad spot and told the DA. The DA had all the power to get AVA out with the cover story. Ava made it clear the DA talked to her and how she is supposed to report back/call for help, etc. Her own lawyer probably didn't know deal. Raylan will monitor how Ava reports back on Boyd and if he believes she is giving up crap info, he can tell the DA to pull the deal. Pretty simple.

I wonder if it is a ploy to keep Raylan in Harlan as well do they can keep an eye on him. I think they still believe he is dirty.

I watched the pilot the other day. Definitely worth it. I forgot just how good the first episode was. Phenomenal.

Hate that this is the last season...but great shows need a good stopping point.

The first episode of the season I thought "Damn, that haitian is gonna be a bad damn man and probably the big bad of the season."

Then he died and I thought "that was a brilliant red herring" until I read they had to write him out quickly.

Isn't it also going to be a shorter season? I seem to remember something about that. Hope it's not and they do a full season order.

The first two seasons were the best. Something that made the show really great was the humor, which has been nonexistent for the past few years.

"I may not know a lot about a lot of things, but I do know how to blow sh*t up!" Watching the last few episodes getting ready for the season opener. I love that scene.

Definitely. And they haven't been bad, they just don't have the charm that made the show so amazing in the beginning. It reminds me a bit of Burn Notice which was light hearted in the beginning but finished dark and depressing at the end.

Not free per se, but they are exclusively on Amazon Prime. You get a 30 day free trial, so you could sign up and binge watch before your trial is over. That's what I did , though I ended up keeping Prime because it has a lot more stuff I want to watch.
