Justin Hunter

I think Bray, Hunter, McCullers, and Sentimore stay if we get a big name, well-respected coach that they think will help them develop further.

I would love for him to stay but kids that come back for there senior year to improve there stock - it rarely works out that way for them. If they are projected 1-2 then they need to go.

Nah, you're just ignorant.

This.

This x2.

All the guys saying Hunter is not NFL ready are just hoping he stays. He's ready. He'll be projected as a 1st rounder after the combine. The dropped balls don't mean anything. He's made a lot more spectacular catches than he has dropped balls. People like to dwell on the dropped passes but give no praise to the spectacular catches he made, or the route running, which improved a great deal since his freshman season.

Guess it depends if you cheer for Justin Hunter or Tennessee's football team. For Tennessee's football team it mattered quite a few times when Hunter dropped passes in key situations.

My comment was regarding his NFL draft stock. It had nothing to do with being a fan. Fact of the matter is he can catch. How else can you catch 70 balls and go over 1000 yards?

I'm not one of the guys who throw someone under the bus just because UT had a lackluster year like a lot of you guys do. Heck to hear you guys talk Bray, Hunter, (insert name who had a few bad plays), were some of the worst to ever put on the orange. In reality, they're among the top guys who have played at UT, but thanks for the super fan comment:peace2:

The list of players that can go pro is getting bigger. We were a bad team. Can't see how we really could have that many players that would get drafted. On defense?. It could be we just had a coaching staff that was that bad.
In my opinion Hunter is the only one that a case could be made for.

He's gotta mental block to get over with that knee and the dropsies to fix, too. Wait and see.

J. Lewis had the same issue the next year after his injury. Seems it takes more time, plus the fact they have a paycheck to put it behind them a little. I'd hate for him to stay and injure it again, but I'll love to see him back in orange and back to form as well.

Lol. Who's exaggerating the truth now? I watched about every game this year and saw a lot of balls fall in and out of Hunter's hands during key situations in big games. There is no throwing anyone under the bus involved when dealing in facts.

Bray and Hunter who both played one full season and CP transferring to UT for one year hardly puts them as some of the top players that played at UT. Sounds like you are the one putting on your Justin Hunter pajamas while declaring the greatness of an injury proned receiver that drops a lot of balls.

If he can't hang on to the ball going over the middle and shys away from contact, DBs in the NFL will eat him alive.
All 3 guys have some major concerns and because those were evident with a lousy season, their draft stock will plummet.

If you get Gruden or Patterson in here, I think it will be very intriguing, despite the lure of the NFL. Would you want your college career to end on such a forgettable note? If you knew coming back and having a big name coach come in, gave you a solid chance at having the kind of season we all thought we'd have this year.

I still think if Wilcox had stayed, we would have had a 11-1 or 10-2 season. That is despite Dooley.

You remind me of the guy sitting behind me at the Troy game who was screaming at the top of his lungs to sit #11 on the bench after a dropped pass in the 1st quarter. He went on to catch 3 TDs including the one that tied the game late in the 4th quarter. I also bet you're on the bus that wants theses guys to leave because they're so terrible. We get it, you're not a Hunter fan, only a "good" UT team gets your cheers.

Orangepants, not trolling, new here. I know for a fact they are leaving unless it is Gruden. Do I personally think they are ready, Hell no but if I had the chance to go pro I would in a heartbeat and pocket da moolah!

If I were them, then I would be gone in a heart beat! I could see someone taking a risk with Bray in the first round (kind of like Tannehill with the Dolphins). CP reminds me of a Devin Hester, but with better hands (dangerous weapon; really hope the Titans would consider taking him or Hunter).

Agreed. He also has a bad habit of short arming passes when he thinks he MIGHT get hit. Watch him closely. He plays timid. He's got to break that habit. Maybe, in the NFL he'll go all out.:peace2:
