Justin Worley quote

I agree. If we have veteran WRs I think he would look serviceable.

Absolutely. I don't have any real opinion on Worley's talent. Maybe he's got it and maybe he doesn't. But you can't trot out that much green onto the field and expect to carve a defense up.

Georgia's defense absolutely has holes. They've given up a lot of points this year.

That said, I don't think Worley can do anything about it.

Agree. I sense our QB is trying too hard to not make mistakes. He is letting the mindset of taking care of the football overpower the need for him to make plays. If he would come out and play with a chip on his shoulder we might see a different outcome. So far, he has not shown a fire to make a difference. I want him to succeed and am behind whoever calls signals but, sooner or later, he has to step up.

I agree. Last he was clocked throwing over 50mph. I think he is so concerned about a mistake that it makes him slow to pull the trigger. I think this also explains the throws that land at the receivers feet

From watching (and rewatching) all of the games so far this season, there is a lot that needs to happen on offense to exploit any holes. The OLine needs to block better, opposing defenses have been getting into the backfield way to much and way to fast. Pass protection was the best part of the Oline last year. The RB's have to do a better job of blocking any blitzing LB's/CB's. The receivers have to do a better job of getting open, completing their routes faster and cleaner. And Worley needs to do a better job of feeling the rush, stepping into the pocket, getting his feet set and finding an open receiver. There was a brief period during the last half of the 1 QTR and 2 QTR of the USA game where things looked pretty good. USA made some adjustments and our O lost it's rhythm.

I hope worley shows good pocket presence and exploits the holes.

From dog to hero in one game if he does.

Not trying to be negative nancy but UGA has more talent on defense than USA and he had 3 INT that game. He better be accurate or he will have a career high game for INTs

^This all day long. The plays where Worley is able to drop back, set his feet, breath for a second or two, and step into his throws unincumbered he has made some pretty decent throws. It looks as though he needs to learn how to make the throws with any slight amount of pressure (whether it be in his face or in his head)

Everything has holes at the molecular level! Doesn't mean everything can pass through them (Wasn't there something about a camel and the eye of a needle?)

I'm sorry to say but it can be the worst defense in the ncaa and I still wouldn't have confidence in Worley to make the throws to win the game

UGA has holes and they've had holes. Last years game is perfect example. They had a lot more "names" on D last year, but they gave up a ton of yards and points to UT. Many of those names are gone. They run the 3-4 and I don't think that goes well at the college level unless you are getting elite DBs like Bama every year. Bamas DBs are down this year and this is certainly not the elite defense we've come to know.

Of course it doesn't matter. UGA will see how vulnerable UT is to the underneath drag route, and wear them a new one.

Actually the eye of the needle is man size. the camel must get on its knees to pass through.
Just a little trivia.

Every player who has access to the media should only be allowed to say this on game week:

"They are a great team, and we will have to bring our best effort on Saturday to be successful. Thank you, no further comments."

Never been a fan of providing opponents with bulletin board material. And are there holes in every defense? Yes, but that is not the only place I am afraid to say. But by golly Mr. Worley, find those holes and expose the Dawgs! Make VN Proud!!

Totally agree.

Ask Bo Wallace what a frank assessment of the opposing defense gets you.
