Justin Worley quote

Worley not very good under pressure, I'm sure opposing teams know this also. Time for this highly touted Oline to step up.

I gotta say... I hope Worley absolutely goes nuts and plays out of his mind this Saturday and for the rest of the year. I've been critical of Worley's play and the play of the team overall.

But I hope like hell he plays great if for no other reason just to shut up the fans that go beyond criticizing his performance and spend time writing about how a 20 year old kid working his arse off for his team "sucks" .....

The scheme is not a fit for him but he could execute it better. Outside of that he gets rattled in the pocket, forces throws into double coverage, doesn't step up in the pocket he only backpedals, under throws and over throws and I could go on. He doesn't suck but he is pretty close to it. IMO. I hope he balls out on Saturday too by the way.

A story from govols xtra quotes him as saying, 'Georgia's defense is athletic, but has holes'. I didn't read the whole story, just the summary( not paying). Here's to hoping he finds enough holes to help us win!

Correct on both accounts. There will be open receivers for him.

Don't disagree with anything you said. I'm just sick of seeing our fans classlessly dog this kid by going beyond a rational criticism of his play... and personally insulting a good kid who's working his arse off and doing his best. I have no problem with fans criticizing his play. I think it's childish and out of bounds to go at him personally.

i do believe we've seen the best defense we'll see all year in florida. maybe bama would be better...not sure.

trouble is that LSU/UGA game was a battle of who could score last.

our defense continues to get better... despite some of the obvious older holes in the safety position.... if gurley doesn't play it should help but they've got competent running backs on 2nd and 3rd team anyway. good news is we have been decent at stopping the run. bad news is aaron murray has been fantastic so far this season.

don't see this going well for us to be honest. just because I think UGA will probably take the east this year again.

And y'all can't think those interceptions were all worley......

if you do, you are forgetting everything you know about true freshman route running ability.

i'd say he made some bad decisions... but he actually made some good throws on saturday. like MORE THAN JUST ONE. and i am one of the biggest worley haters out there but i don't doubt hes the best we have.

if anyone watched the ESPNU special on tn today.... riley ferguson looks really good. i mean future is bright with him. here's hoping!

Not proud to say it, but I see Worley throwing 4 ints, having 175 passing yards, and getting, sacked 3 times.

Let's face it Worley hasn't done it all season so what makes you think he will this game? To have a shot Saturday we have to do a better job keeping contain. If we start letting Marshall bounce to the outside on us it's going to be a long day.

and for God sake please get AJ out of there on 3rd and long. If I see another drag route go for a first down I'll pull my hair out.

I just hope our Def don't make another teams player a Heisman candidate . We know what we are getting on off. nothing but the same plays we have been getting all year. Its going to get ugly. but GBO

Every player who has access to the media should only be allowed to say this on game week:

"They are a great team, and we will have to bring our best effort on Saturday to be successful. Thank you, no further comments."

And this place would attempt to break those comments down...each week.

Florida has a better defense that UGA. UT and Worley can score some points this week, but unless something happens to Murray, UGA will probably score at will.

Big Dan just needs to take him out. Who cares if we get 15. Suplex him out if the game. Then do the same to the next 3 RBs and we should be ok.

By the way, I'm ready to take all the smack from the Worley bashers. I'm just gonna support whoever our qb is.

good man to step up. this is our QB today, lets stick behind him until we see he quits. Not just off with the receivers on timing routes. I hope the freshman plays if they ever see the field are pure read option with a pass on the table as well -

Love the quote from Worley. Maybe it will have a Shawn Williams type effect on the defense.

Worley is speaking the truth and sometimes a wake up call is needed.

From what I've seen, Worley has made a few strides the last couple of weeks. In hindsight, I think starting him in the FL game, we would have been in the game at the end (within 2 touchdowns).

I think as the season progresses, he will find a rythym and possibly win a game or two against a mid level SEC team. He hasn't been the best but he sure isn't the worse.
