I saw a said Bama fan with a A on his car and wearing a Seahawks t-shirt while pumping gas. Asked if his favorite player was Shaun Alexander and he said he doesn't follow baseball. CLASSIC MODERN DAY BAMA BUM!

Don't remember exact quote but he also said something to the affect " join us or get hit by me" to other recruits. Can Anybody quote it more accurately ?

College kids in 2014 will act the same as college kids in 1998. I'm not saying I'M going to storm the field if we beat Bama as a 38 year old...but students sure as hell will.

In 1998 college kids were at the games.:loco:

I like this recruit.

What's KM saying to other recruits? BTW, I'm 63, still have my much worn '98 NC t-shirt and don't see anything wrong with Khalil's talking sheep about bammer. Old=I survived youth. I hope all you youngsters do, too.

It's the third Saturday in October.... UT is beating bama by 4 with 20 secs to go. The ball is on the vols 1"line, it's forth and goal. It's a hand off to Yeldon and Mckenzie bursts through a triple team and stops him for a loss and a win. The crowd erupts, they don't storm the field though because we own bama.

If Yeldon has a halfway productive season this year, he will probably declare for the draft before MacKenzie signs his letter of intent. Nice visual, though.

I was there it was total heaven! :p

I was in MM. When I saw the kick miss, I dropped to my knees in relief. By the time I got back to my feet, both goalposts were falling. The next morning, my voice was completely gone until mid week.

Tennessee doesn't storm the field, this isn't amateur hour.

1989, after a dismal 5-6 record the year before, #1 ranked Auburn rolls into town with heralded Reggie Slack at QB. Hobby and Hayworth dominate as defensive ends batting down multiple passes by a frustrated Slack, topped off by a Charles McRae pancake block that springs Reggie Cobb splashing 79 yards in an explosion down a rain soaked Shields-Watkins Field for a touchdown. You beat a Top 5 Sec team after having been down for a while....you're damn right you storm the field!

Yes they will, I would say the kids now are probably even a little more wild/crazy acting than the ones in 98. If UT is at Neyland when these long losing streaks to UF and Alabama are broken, they will storm the field and goal posts will come down! Believe that! You potentially may even see some of our fans/students storm their fields if the streak is broken on the road.

Since only about a handful of students actually go to the games it won't be much of a storm.
