I think the way the rest of the defense played didn’t help. If eleven men are on the field then eleven men are responsible. Notwithstanding Hadden needs to cool it with the extracurricular stuff, when your defense puts a corner on an island all bets are off no matter how talented they are.

While I don't disagree with anything you said man, I still believe it's a bad move on his end. You pick and choose your battles and categorizing all of "Volnation" because a couple fans are unpleased by your actions and argue with your family, which who knows if they even knew it was his family or what the content was, go after those individuals if you want. "Bucking up" to all of Volnation is not a good business move imo. It's his choice though, I'm sure the majority of Volnation is displeased.

I changed it for those who are analyzing those particular words I used. "Hate mail" are strong words. However you want to look at it, it's tweets directly at him and/or his family. He feels they were disrespectful, imo if you disrespect someone, you're "hating on them". I get how some can assume the worse things though. I changed it to the words he used, which was "disrespectful" messages to his mom and little brother that bothered him.

My wife points out that there's quite a bit of irony in fans getting upset and posting angry responses to a player about a player getting upset and posting an angry response to fans.

"Is there an adult around..... anywhere?"

Doesn’t matter what transpired during the play on the field. You don’t go talking trash to the opposing coach like he did, especially whenever you are getting your doors blown off.

He may turn into a decent player but i hate the way he runs his mouth especially when your getting burnt like toast. i kind of wish he would hit the portal as well. But dang i see the potential because of the edge he plays with.

If you are asking fans to be involved then you have to accept their reaction to negative behavior. It is a public forum and sometimes you get just what you ask for.

If jerkwads are engaging his family members, they are low class trash.
No excuse.
Running his mouth to the point of penalties is immature and DUMB.
Fans are entitled to voice their opinions about it just like Hadden can.

But fans don't have a right to harass his family.
He is right to object and call people out.

Some of the blowback is due to his diction and communication style. He is neither eloquent nor well spoken.

Most of us would prefer if he was humble until his play on the field matches his words.

In today’s NIL world, college football players are essentially the same as professional athletes. IMO, Criticism is fair as long as the comments aren’t of a personal nature

Nah. Guarantee you I can run my mouth better. And he has no business as a starting SEC db with his skill set right now. That’s just where we’re at. He’s prob more athletic than me, but I promise you I could go out on that field and get burnt like he did all year.

I assume that if he's back, the coaches wanted him back. They must see some potential there. I assume from that there has been some kind of deal between he and the coaches about his on-field behavior as a condition of him coming back. I wonder if this tweet is consistent with what the coaches expect of him going forward.
