Senator Elizabeth Warren has claimed Kamala Harris will not “give an inch” when she debates JD Vance, as the Democrats lay down a challenge to Donald Trump’s new running mate.

“The VP will take it to JD Vance. I’ve known her for nearly 15 years, while she’s been in every kind of fight on behalf of working families, and she is strong,” Ms Warren said on a Biden campaign call with reporters.

“She knows what she’s talking about and she doesn’t give an inch.

“And she has the better end of the argument... The debate is going to have two parts to it. It’s how strong our Vice President is and how good her economic issues are.”

...and you're only talking about her answer regarding her outstanding job as the Border Czar. That one answer could be one huge run-on sentence that eats up the entire allotted time for the debate.

I got to say Vance gives me Pence vibes...I do not trust him. I hope I am wrong, but while I liked him the first time I heard him, he lost my trust quite awhile ago when he seemed to suck up to teh very worst RINOS of the Rpublican Party. I also feel like any VP should scare the other side enough to keep your main man safe..I dunno that he accomplishes that or could. I deffinately can see why Trump's enemies would find vance preferable. That's not a good situation.

I will say he'd mop the floor with Harris, but that's not much of an accolade. Anyone who can speak rationally and not laugh like a mule high on crack has her number.

Probably won't come up in the debate, but he's about to start getting drilled with questions about all the disparaging things he's said about Donald. "What's changed?"

"America's future and the magnitude of this election on that future is more important than petty remarks said in the heat of the moment."

Pretty much every Republican has attacked Trump at some point. That question was going to be something that would come up regardless of who he picked. Not really a good answer to such a question, but I doubt it comes up more than maybe once, primarily because Kamala called Biden a racist in a debate. If the media or Dems tried to make a huge talking point of Vance’s criticism of Trump, that is a really easy “forget about this?” for the Republicans.
