Pretty much every Republican has attacked Trump at some point. That question was going to be something that would come up regardless of who he picked. Not really a good answer to such a question, but I doubt it comes up more than maybe once, primarily because Kamala called Biden a racist in a debate. If the media or Dems tried to make a huge talking point of Vance’s criticism of Trump, that is a really easy “forget about this?” for the Republicans.

It is a lackluster selection. He’ll be a yes man, bulldog for Trump if in fact Trump is elected, but I don’t think he helps Trump get elected.

I got to say Vance gives me Pence vibes...I do not trust him. I hope I am wrong, but while I liked him the first time I heard him, he lost my trust quite awhile ago when he seemed to suck up to teh very worst RINOS of the Rpublican Party. I also feel like any VP should scare the other side enough to keep your main man safe..I dunno that he accomplishes that or could. I deffinately can see why Trump's enemies would find vance preferable. That's not a good situation.

I will say he'd mop the floor with Harris, but that's not much of an accolade. Anyone who can speak rationally and not laugh like a mule high on crack has her number.

Not sure of Vance's substance on the matter. I was quoting him. My view on it goes all the way back to his presidency, starting with his Sunday 1-4 am unhinged tweets spewing petty and immature insults to the SNL cast for their skits about him
