The author mentions Emhoff's "infidelity" (their word) and then goes on to laud Emhoff for "not showing bitterness toward his ex-wife.". How magnanimous of him. He's not bitter at his wife for divorcing after she caught him ___ their kids' nanny and getting her pregnant. And then the author goes on to list the many women who write admiring inquires about finding a "supportive husband" just like their role model, Emhoff.

Democrats have shown they don't actually need to "run for office" to be selected into actually running things in the government. Good old Dr. Jill is directing cabinet meetings despite not having run for anything at all.

Based on this precedent that democrats have established (having first spouses lead key White House-level meetings), Kamala should be disqualified.
