now, bear with me on this, it's where we can talk about anything in college sports that doesn't relate to Tennessee Football or Tennessee Basketball

The University of Kansas is something that falls under that category

Well...I'm not sure if they're irrelevant; this whole thing is a long way from being over. But I bet Hatvol will find the time to come here and post something sarcastic.

Bill Self was on espn cryin his heart out. Saying it isnt fair to all he has accomplished that KU basketball has no pull in the bcs conference changes. He just got the wake up call. Football pays the bills at all colleges. They bring in the higher revenues way more than any other sport. Self was just shocked that bball has as much pull as tennis does in the ncaa. That's how it is. EVen at the power house schools like Duke, Ky, UNC, and Kansas. In the south we all knew this to be true but it was funny as hell for these bball legends to see where there bread is buttered. Just like what Dooley does impacts what happens to Summit and Pearl. Check this out

Now I am not saying that the fb coaches ar ebetter coaches. Just that the fb program is mor eimportant than any other. fb is king. If not the big 12 would be in tact they had Baylor, Kansas st. Kansas all 30 win programs and elite 8. None of that matters. So yes I am saying do to the climate in ncaa sports.

If you think football is more important than basketball at basketball schools like Kentucky, Kansas and Duke then you are sadly misinformed.

Well fyi my stepdad is childhood best friends with their D Coordinator Carl Torbush and my stepdad asked him the other day if they had plans on moving conferences and he said no. TIFWIW

Swear, I went to camps when he was at Texas A&M and CN. Going up there to watch them play GT this year. Pull up the MTSU-Miss State forum I made last year.

Compare the aggregate pay of the football coaches to that of their basketball counterparts. Then come back and tell me who drives the train at those schools.

Literally dozens of the most rabid, revenue-generating fans in all of college athletics. Duke Football = cash cow.
