Yea I was thinking the same thing if Uros can go at him and make him foul we could have a better shot than we would if he stays clean throughout most of the game

Don't underestimate Uros. I'm think he plays a role against Kansas Saturday.

I think Azbuike will dominate both Fulky and Uros. He's much stronger physically than both of them and a just plain better player, I just don't see them having much success. Key to this game will be JJJ. Kansas will be physical and in his face the whole game, how he handles it will determine if we are competitive or not I feel.

I think Fulky is smarter and more basketball savvy. I think he will negate, to some degree, the perceived mismatch. Don't forget the power of the lucky charms and whole milk.

De Sousa isn't much of a loss for them. Averages only 5 or 6 mins per game. McCormack averages about 16 mins a game. He's a solid player. The only way this greatly affects them is if we manage to get Azubuike in foul trouble (which IMO we are going to test him early). If we succeed in doing that, they'll have to play a bit smaller, but even then they'll have a noticeable talent advantage. It will take all of our guys being on their A game for us to have a chance, and it'll also take Kansas not playing one of their better games. Crazier things have happened this season, but I would advise not to get your hopes up.

I agree with everything you said and our A game must include JB , Vescovi & Pons hitting 33% + from 3 to actually get a close win.

This is an update. The NCAA hadn’t ruled on the situation. The two previously announced suspensions were voluntarily by Kansas.

The NCAA ruling had been discussed for several pages in the other thread. Was announced on Wednesday.

At the time of the OP the ruling had just come down. The “several pages” were discussing what had voluntarily issued.

Kansas made their "voluntary" ruling early Wednesday. The Big 12 ruling came out around 5 on Wednesday. This thread was started middle of the day on Thursday. Was discussed in the huge brawl thread. (Not that it really matters. It was a joke.)
