So to be clear, the Nazis were totally evil and they didn't contribute anything positive to humanity. They were of no value to to Western society.

Is this what the final verdict is?

Also, to be extra clear and help me understand, Kanye saying that he has love for Nazis or would offer Nazis forgiveness or amnesty, that would be wrong and worthy of rebuke, right?

But even so, why add that caveat? How many millions did the British Empire and Spanish killed?

Closer to 12 million, depending on who you personally decide are people or a genocide today, which I'm not entirely sure you would do.

How many died in the revolution, Comrade? Or after Stalin seized control and went hyper-industrialization?

Genghis Khan and the Mongols are a better comparison. How are they remembered? Don't hear people speak of their positive contributions.

No, you are incorrect. Also, Ye is a loon. How can he have love for someone like Hitler that he doesn't even know?

One more thing. Why is he talking about them at all? Why incorporate their symbols into his campaign?

Meh, I can't think of anything right off about the Mongols. But that still doesn't answer my question with regards to the Nazis, Spanish or British?

It's because its a suicidal attempt at clout chasing on his part. He should know that people get worked up over their flags and over symbolism. Look at how apoplectic people get with regards to the Confederate flag and how they got over the Kaepernick knee situation.

That is exactly what I mean. People don’t praise GK for his contributions in international law and commerce. He is remembered mainly for the terrible stuff. I don’t understand why people feel the need to even talk about the Nazi’s and hitler other than learning history.

When people talk about the conquistadors we normally are talking about the evils they did.
Same with British colonialism.

And the world is more nuanced and complicated than just calling one group totally evil and another totally good. Having a conversation about Nazis, for whatever reason, is considered to be a 3rd rail issue. The Nazis, by popular thinking by the sheeple, were totally evil and contributed nothing to humanity. Kanye saying (or alluding to) the Nazis having some good people is no different than Trump saying there were goad and bad people on both sides in Charlottesville.

The Nazis were totally evil based on their own resume of actions and it’s hilarious as hell watching you defend West’s stupidity on this whole debacle and not knowing when to just shut the hell up and move on. Both you and West.

They would be just as wrong for carrying hate for strangers just as much as they would carry undeserved love or admiration for people they don't know.
