I'm quite familiar already, danke.Sound like you have some reading and studying to do. I will let you start with this.
Operation Paperclip - Wikipedia
Okay. Enlighten us on how the work of these scientists from Operation Paperclip DID NOT benefit this country for one? Because right now all you're doing is trying to find something to pearl clutch about on a Sunday afternoon.Wasn't it you who brought up Operation Paperclip as an example of how Nazis have done good?
So it was you saying they did benefit humanity, ok. As you say they did benefit humanity then surely you can advise how they did that.Okay. Go back and read post # 188 again. I mentioned Operation Paperclip which is FACT. You are simply trying to find a reason to clutch some pearls today. Nice try though. So it was you saying they did benefit humanity, ok. As you say they did benefit humanity then surely you can advise how they did that.
Yes there was an Operation Paperclip. You say it benefited humanity. Please share your knowledge of how it benefited humanity, if you can. I don't see how it did.Go back and read post # 188 again. Dude, how many times does it have to be mentioned about NASA and the US using them to fight communists. To likely 90% of people such as yourself, those would be considered benefits to humanity. If someone says something's beneficial but refuses to say how it's beneficial, who's gaslighting?
Why don't you tell us how Operation Paperclip helped mankind?
So we got more accurate nuclear warheads and enabled Latin fascist dictators. Ok then if that's all you've got.Dude, how many times does it have to be mentioned about NASA and the US using them to fight communists. While I am really enjoying watching you poke our resident Russian cheerleaders on their pro/anti Nazi moving stances it’s hard to argue we would have had the success on our space efforts in the time that we did without Von Braun. In fact I’ve read that some say we wouldn’t have gotten to the moon without him. While stepping on the moon probably in and of itself doesn’t directly impact the day to day lives of people all of technology and metallurgy discoveries supporting the moon landing efforts directly impact the lives of citizens. Rocketry is a multiuse technology it isn’t limited to weapons applications. So we got more accurate nuclear warheads and enabled Latin fascist dictators. Ok then if that's all you've got.
Very well put. I think Paperclip did help speed development of our space program and the resultant scientific progress we reap even today, as an indirect result of why we brought them here. While I am really enjoying watching you poke our resident Russian cheerleaders on their pro/anti Nazi moving stances it’s hard to argue we would have had the success on our space efforts in the time that we did without Von Braun. It’s hard to discount Von Braun’s contribution to the US rocketry technologies which are the cornerstone of our military AND civilian space programs and do support scientific research benefiting mankind (many of the 0g studies conducted on the shuttle and ISS for example). However Von Braun’s conditional morals and ethics will also always be an asterisk on his contributions also. And they should always follow his legacy too, it’s part of the whole picture.
Could we have done it all without Von Braun and his colleagues? Likely. Would it have impacted us negatively in the geopolitical situation of the time? Unknown. And that “unknown” I think is why Paperclip was allowed.
And I think I’ve argued both sides of this debate on here. Paperclip that is.
And why is this in a thread on Kanye West anyway ?
Yep. Von Braun was a willing Nazi and SS member. He claimed coercion but I don’t think he proved his case. Both memberships enabled the only thing he cared about. His research. And then there’s the slave labor ding too.Very well put. Current and former executives confirmed unsold Yeezy shoes in Adidas warehouses are worth $530 million in potential revenue. They said Adidas is trying to find ways to sell the shoes under its own brand to avoid a massive impairment charge.
I fully expect him to complete his time on this planet and warp back to his mother planet before then.
Vultures 1 was taken down from Apple Music on Thursday afternoon (Feb. 15) without any explanation as to why.
The project was also wiped from iTunes and scrubbed from the Apple Music charts, where the Rich The Kid and Playboi Carti-assisted “CARNIVAL” had held the No. 1 slot on the Top 100: Global chart. However, “CARNIVAL” has since been added back as a single to Apple Music and YouTube Music.
