Kavanaugh Confirmation

What would an FBI investigation uncover that the Senate cannot? The committee can subpoena people, if you don’t want to talk to the FBI you don’t have to. There’s zero forensic evidence to analyze. Most people can’t tell you what they had for lunch two weeks ago, so asking someone about an event 36 years ago is folly. I know the democrat line is “what are you afraid of?”, my question is what part of the horse is left to beat?

I’ll give her a pass on flat out calling that since she showed up at least and went thru that. If she was a no show I’d get on board.

I got no issues buying into complete and total batshit crazy
You think the only money shes getting is that gofundme money? Shes getting much more and it was contingent on her dog and pony show.

Anymore all you need is an accusation. The act is not required
I still get a kick out of that. No big deal what's happened to K, all in the name of stalling a confirmation and reasonable doubt.

But it's also the worse thing you could wish on someone.

Talk about incontinence of the brain.

It's not a trial, it's a job interview. The conclusion may very well properly be that there is enough reasonable doubt to remove him from consideration.
Given that it is a job interview (and not a trial), that we're talking about a lifetime appointment to the most powerful court in the country, that the Court's legitimacy is absolutely tantamount (and certainly more important than the reputation of any one potential justice), and the difficulty of removing through impeachment a wrongly appointed justice, I would say your doubt doesn't even have to be "reasonable." For example, I think if you only believe there's a 20% chance Kavanaugh assaulted Ford, that may be sufficient to keep him off. Why take the risk when there are plenty in line without the cloud of suspicion that overhangs Kavanaugh?

You people will put a cloud of suspicion over any nominee.
