Kavanaugh Confirmation

Given that it is a job interview (and not a trial), that we're talking about a lifetime appointment to the most powerful court in the country, that the Court's legitimacy is absolutely tantamount (and certainly more important than the reputation of any one potential justice), and the difficulty of removing through impeachment a wrongly appointed justice, I would say your doubt doesn't even have to be "reasonable." For example, I think if you only believe there's a 20% chance Kavanaugh assaulted Ford, that may be sufficient to keep him off. Why take the risk when there are plenty in line without the cloud of suspicion that overhangs Kavanaugh?
I would walk out of a job interview like that one.

I heard someone on a radio show say that if they hadn't seen her and just heard her testify that they would have never known it was her. Said she doesn't even talk like that. Said they ported her to look and sound like a little innocent school girl. Mentioned her glasses were different to portray the image. Can't remember but said they were not sure she wore glasses but I can't be 100% on that. I wonder if some old pictures of her pre testimony to see if that's true.

So I take it you are proud at the way your party has conducted itself?

She did sound like a 13 year old. Of course, she writes like one too.

He is hoping you will. He doesn't want you.

The mental gymnastics people will propose to prop up their partisan needs is scary.

If we dont need reasonable doubt about someone's character to deny them, then all you need to create is what we have here. Unfounded, unprovable accusations.

Depending how dirty a side wanted to play, we may never get another appointment.

This is nothing more than people who are cool with dirty politics making excuses for dirty politics from their side.

Have you been to many job interviews where you had to explain items in your high school yearbook?

Ironically, she deleted all social media accounts.

We were at the beach this week and I was subjected to listening to other people’s kids. A 15 year old boy and girl were taking turns trying to impress each other with cool stories. The boy said he went to a party and he remembers someone opening a bottle of gin and the next thing he remembers is waking up in a bathtub. I thought oh buddy there goes your political career.

Anyone listen to Graham's questioning of K during initial SC interviews? About his knowledge and beliefs per the difference between standard criminal law and military law? Whether we are at war since 9/11? About trying civilian traitors in military courts?

Per swamp draining... Is it possible that may be the real reason lots of people don't want him on the court? His beliefs on military tribunals? Not just roe v Wade?

I’ll bet the FBI can find them! Maybe they’ll stumble across Hills emails too!

And I’d like to send T&Ps to the agents family for upcoming self imposed demise of whatever agent that finds that social media data. Turrible turrible.
