The most telling statement from the report: Rachel Mitchell reaches the conclusion that ““A ‘he said, she said’ case is incredibly difficult to prove. But this case is even weaker than that.”Mitchell state’s Ford’s case is very weak from a legal perspective. Yeah sure... R’s hired her so her professional opinion is bought.
Outside counsel in Kavanaugh hearings argues Ford case weak on legal grounds
Flake is a cowardFlake was dumb to cave into demands. As predicted Dems already calling investigation a sham. Nothing the Republicans give in on will be considered good enough because they will continue to move the goal posts. That's because this is not about finding the truth, it's about stalling the nomination process as long as possible for political purposes.
"Wow! Just starting to hear the Democrats, who are only thinking Obstruct and Delay, are starting to put out the word that the 'time' and 'scope' of FBI looking into Judge Kavanaugh and witnesses is not enough. Hello! For them, it will never be enough - stay tuned and watch!" the President tweeted.
Signs that the White House is more closely involved in setting the terms of the new background check on Kavanaugh than might have been initially clear sparked disquiet from Democrats.
"Based on some of the reports we've seen this weekend, I'm very concerned about this because the White House should not be allowed to micromanage an FBI investigation," Democratic Sen. Amy Klobuchar of Minnesota, who sits on the Senate Judiciary Committee, said on CNN's "State of the Union."
"While the White House decides who to nominate, and then that person is submitted to a background check, I have never heard that the White House, either under this president or other presidents, is saying, 'well, you can't interview this person, you can't look at this time period, you can only look at these people from one side of the street from when they were growing up,'" Klobuchar said.
Asked on ABC's "This Week" whether she thought the FBI investigation would be credible, Hawaii Democratic Sen. Mazie Hirono said, "That's going to be the big outstanding question."
This is reason 7470 why this investigation is a shame. Every single person with a half a brain knew this was about delay and also knew they would be calling for longer and a wider scope. Flake is a hack and got played but he is willingShocked I tell you.
Demand an FBI inquiry? Got one.
Now complain about the FBI inquiry.

So, I think everyone probably felt a little sorry for Dr. Ford when it appeared that the attorneys Dianne Feinstein set her up with put out the lie about how she could not travel by air because of a fear of flying.
But, her lie about the second door seems to be all on her. It looks like the door she claims they were arguing over whether to install in 2012 due to trauma, was actually installed in 2008 to convert part of her home into an illegal rental unit.
Permit records have a funny way of exposing things like that. She needed 2 front doors, she and her husband argued about it to the point of going to couples therapy........... 4 years later?????The libs are going to regret wanting this investigation. So much **** is going to turn up on them and this woman.
That's what I thought.Slink away now. Show some self respect.
There's been speculation that plan B was plan A all along. Not sure I believe it, but certainly makes for a good story that Trump threw out Kavanaugh knowing the dems would implode, and then walks Amy through the door which is who he really wanted in the first place.Regardless of what this website says, I believe that Amy Barrett is plan B........and Dems should be even more worried about plan B IMO
