Ewww... That resting b*!¢h face.

From the sounds of it this thing is going forward to a vote, with the FBI not adding any game changing info.

2 questions - 2nd contingent on the answer to the 1st

1. Is Kavanaugh confirmed?

2. If not, who (of the handful) votes no?
Yes he’ll be confirmed 52-48. Manchin will crossover and support the nomination. Wouldn’t be completely shocked if Donnelly supported him as well.

Collins/Murkowski I think will stick together. Flake is a wildcard. If it looks like a go then Manchin comes along for the ride (with a yes)

If Manchin sees his vote is not going to be decisive he'll vote to confirm. I understand some bad polling came out for Heitkamp today. Has she come out as a no yet or is she still undecided?

She was a NO last week but she might pull a Donnelly and retract her NO.

Flake has played both sides of the fence since last week but his play for the investigation paints him in a corner if he has future political ventures in mind.

I think he gets confirmed. I think Manchin is a yes.

There are about 17000 law professors - they better circulate that letter more thoroughly. Less than 4% onboard to date
Alan Dershowitz was on with Tucker tonight and commented that if the shoe was on the other foot i.e. a Dem in the WH and a liberal SCOTUS nominee being so accused, not a one of those law profs would sign such a letter. Sad.

Just got through watching him on there , he also said he was asked to sign it and told them no and wrote why he wouldn’t .

So even if you figure that law profs are evenly split on agreeing with conservative vs liberal court ideology, if all the signers come from the liberal side it's still less than 8% of those that disagree with K's judicial philosophy. It's fringe anyway you slice it.
