Do you own guns ? I do . Can you carry them around with you ? I can . So how have “ they” reduced my 2nd amendment rights. When it comes to 4th amendment rights I think we are the hold outs compared to any other country on the planet . Would I like more freedom , sure I would . How do you purpose we go about that ? It's not a dumb response. You either have courts or you don't. If you eliminate the supreme court then the next lower court will be the highest court. Those judges are appointed too. Do we eliminate those courts as well?

You're conflating things. With abortion, the woman is making the choice, which is many times a very difficult one that tends to be regretted. It's not degrading or exploitative to the woman in question.

The real argument with abortion comes down to whether you think the rights of the unborn child override those of the woman carrying that child. I think most would say no. Again, I advocate discouraging abortion, but I can't advocate restricting a woman's rights.

From what I understand, IF and that's a big IF the supreme court overturned RvW it wouldn't make abortions illegal it would just make it a state's rights issue allowing states to decide.

No, I think for a lot of women it has just become another birth control option. With everything that is available today(free condoms, free birth control, plan B, etc) abortions should be extremely rare. Unfortunately, they are not.

I'm aware, and unfortunately there's no agreed upon objective measure for what constitutes a living human. It's a matter of opinion, which creates the impasse. That's why it comes down to rights, unless the government imposes a belief system on the populace.

So the law assumes the baby is a baby that will be carried to term but if an abortion is going to happen the law assumes it’s just cells ? What if when the dr starts and the mother changed her mind , it becomes a baby again? . You do see how screwed up that is right ?

The flaw in our government is giving small population states the same power as large population states. It was done to keep the slave holding states happy and in the union. Now, all it does is arbitrarily dilute the power of progressive voters and enhance the power of conservatives.

The justification for that has not existed for 150 years. It's time to reform the Senate and the electoral process to stop minority rule.

What is the point of a union if smaller states have to bow to the will of larger states?
