Yeah, I really don't know or remember what the whole deal was with JP.

I just can't believe this. Why would anyone want to coach here? We have no loyalty to our coaches. We can't appreciate anything short of a championship, and we can't accept the fact that only one team of what is it 119 schools ends up champion?

The question I have is, at that point how do you judge Pearl?

10 years. No Elite 8's or Final Fours. It's going to be time for a change. IMO, there are only 3 reasons to fire someone. Program stagnation is one of them.

Let's call it what it is........a style issue. Pearl prefers a pressing style of play with up and down the court quickness. We didn't have the personnel to play his style this year and I think he did a decent job of getting the kids to play half court ball. I think he did a piss poor job of teaching or motivating them on defense this year. I think this improves when he gets the players to play the style he prefers.

Also of note, I think young kids like his fast paced game style versus an old school traditional offense/defense. I think you'll continue to see that help in recruiting. Let's just hope we get kids with character that won't get kicked out for violating team rules.
