They expect a press conference announcing Kellie as coach officially around Monday .
That was Friday when so YouTube channel video.

Interesting take in Sam. Who is making that call, Sam wanting to not be connected as a coach or Kellie not wanting Sam. Best to keep a good relationship now when jobs aren’t on the line.

Missouri women's basketball had official open to public 11:00 am introducing Kellie as a head coach.

Both. Sam makes too much money at Mississippi State, she took the salary that Gabe was making, which would be half the assistant coaches’ pool they announced as part of Kellie’s contract. And I think Kellie wants to go younger with most of her staff.

Makes sense. At this point both have to think long term and how to get there.

Ouch. That error still gets the natives upset. Read an article that had her coaching the LV in Nashville during her tenure here.

Here's where they said Kellie Harper didn't promote Tennessee enough.
And was one the reason for letting Kellie Harper go
If that' had been talked before I miss it.

First I had heard that. I watch the press conferences but that’s about it.

There was a lot of frustration on campus with her for not being willing to do a lot of public appearances and speeches to promote the program. Had an open invitation on some radio and streaming shows and never took them. Did the minimum number of donor/booster events. Wasn't rude about it, but just wasn't a promoter and wasn't in front of fans often. I think that made it easier for fans to be critical because they didn't have the opportunity to get to know her or be around her. Felt like she took for granted that she went here and was beloved. I don't think she fully understood what other coaches were doing here and at other schools to promote their programs.
