Kelvin Taylor > Derrick Henry...and other bold NFL Draft predictions

Myles Jack won't make it to a second contract because of the seperation of the bone and cartilage in his knee.

Either Carson Wentz or Jared Goff will be consistent top 5 QBs. They both have the ability to be elite.

Guess Henry is another one of those guys who tests better than he plays. On the film his cutting ability is wack. Its the main reason he has so many stops in the backfield. He can't make people miss. Kelvin on the other hand is amazing at creating for himself.

Aren't you using the same argument to make your point for Marquez. "Your hypocrisy knows no bounds"

Picks I loved

1. Ezekeil Elliott to the Cowboys - Best player in the draft (especially after the news of Myles Jack potentially needing microfracture surgery). He'll be offensive rookie of the year, run for 1500+ yards, and be a pro bowler. Stud.

2. Karl Joseph to the Raiders - best DB in the draft. Yes, much better than Hargreaves and Ramsey. He'll be a stud immediately. Defensive rookie of the year IMO.

3. Keanu Neal to the Falcons - Kam Chancellor 2.0 IMO. Expect him to be one of the most intimidating hitters in the league. And a pro bowl safety.

4. Robert Nkemdiche to the Cardinals - perfect spot for him. Bruce Arians will get him to reach his potential. Expect multiple pro bowls.

Picks I hated

1. Jared Goff to the Rams - if they were desperate for a QB, Wentz, Hogan, and even Hackenberg would be better choices. This kid will join Sam Bradford as another #1 overall pick bust for the Rams. Expect Fisher and Snead to be fired in 3 years.

2. Joey Bosa to the Chargers - I thought he was a borderline 2nd round talent at 4-3 DE but moving him to 3-4 OLB with his lack of speed and athleticism at #3 overall....oh lawd. Now this is crazy.

3. DeForest Buckner to the 49ers - So after Arik Armstead turned out to be a total bust, they thought it was best to double down with his clone? Really? Chip Kelly bout to be fired from another job.

4. Leonard Floyd to the Bears - after the failures of Barkevious Mingo and Dion Jordan, the Bears thought it smart to draft another skinny undersized defensive end with limited production in the top 10? Pure madness.

- Expect all 4 to be huge busts. Especially for when they were picked.

Ridiculous that Sterling Shepard and Jonathan Bullard aren't off the board. They are way better most of the guys taken in the first round.

Shepard is the best WR in this class. And Bullard is right there with Nkemdiche as the best 4-3 DT/3-4 DE.

They have a 1,000 yd rusher in Mac, just signed Alfred Morris and Dunbar..............head scratcher of a pick with Ramsey sitting on the board. I'll also take the bet that he will not come close to sniffing 1500 yards, much less be a pro bowler this year.

Agreed. It's not that I think that Elliott won't be a productive back, but the Cowboys have so many other needs.

Congrats on regurgitating what the announcers said last night, I really needed a recap this morning.

Ramsey is not close to as good a player as Elliott. He's not a shut down corner. He has poor ball skills. Poor instincts. He will not be a perennial pro bowl caliber player. Elliott on the other hand will be a perennial pro bowler. A potential HOFer IMO. And one of the 3-4 best RBs in the league as early as next year.

Here are my pro comparisons for the two:

Ezekiel Elliott = LaDanian Tomlinson

Jalen Ramsey = Antonio Cromartie

You don't pass on a future HOFer for a solid starting corner. Cowboys made a great pick. Rather than reaching for an inferior player at a position of need, they took the best player available. Wonderful concept.

You don't pass on a HOF talent for "needs" unless there is another HOFer available.

Ezekiel Elliott is LaDanian Tomlinson 2.0. I'm pretty sure most people would take a hall of famer even if running back wasn't a huge need.

The only player talent-wise in the same class as Elliott was Myles Jack. But now with news he might need microfracture surgery, Elliott is the obvious choice.

Most of the announcers loved the picks I hate. Its standard protocol for them to act like every player will be a star.

I do the opposite. I tell you who will suck and who won't beforehand.

Which is also standard protocol. If someone told you the sky was blue, you would disagree and then give a twenty page thesis on why the sky is not blue

We'll see whose right. Ezekiel Elliott is special. Behind that Cowboys o-line, I wouldn't be surprised if he ran for 2000 yards next year. He's that good.

Hey, if that's your opinion, then more power to you. Unlike you, I don't find this prognostication as some sort of competition. You think he is Christ wearing shoulder pads and most see him as a great talent, but keep their expectations in check instead of shooting for the moon. You wont be surprised if in the age of a passing league, that a rookie running back will break the rookie rushing record of Eric Dickerson from back in the early 80's?...........and among the top 5 in NFL history his rookie season?

So you know for a fact that EE will be a HoFer and not suck? Well thats that. I mean you said Hardman will be a Vol on NSD so obviously your skills are spot on.

No one knows that for sure about any player. The draft is about who you have the most confidence in. And I have more confidence in Ezekiel Elliott to be great than any other player.
