Kelvin Taylor > Derrick Henry...and other bold NFL Draft predictions

I agree with you on Coleman. Just don't see it with him. This is a weak WR class. After Shepard, I like Tyler Boyd. He reminds me of Keenan Allen of the Chargers. Doctson and Treadwell will be decent but I don't see them as stars.

I had totally forgot about Tyler Boyd from Pitt. I would have to rank him ahead of Coleman as well. So, Boyd would be 5th on my list at WR with Coleman being 6th. I still can't believe Coleman was the first one taken. I would have thought he would have been a 2nd round pick but taken as the 1st WR at #15 in the 1st round? No way!

I guess it was more due to his speed factor but not everybody is fast in college at CB but everybody at the NFL level is fast at CB. I still say Doctson becomes the best overall WR of this bunch but I'm sure there will be some surprises as well. Will Fuller is another one to watch & he's a speed guy. That's who the Browns should have taken at #15 if they were looking for a speed guy but with more skills in my opinion.

Most of the announcers loved the picks I hate. Its standard protocol for them to act like every player will be a star.

I do the opposite. I tell you who will suck and who won't beforehand.

Dude....aren't you the guy who started/named this thread?

Now that the draft is over, we can now accurately rename this thread "the 211th pick 6th round pick > the 45th pick 2nd round pick" ..... no offense, but in light of that and several other D4H predictions/declarations, I think I'll pass on taking your scouting advice "beforehand".

:good!:

At first I thought he was trolling. It's like an overflowing toilet at times.

He also claimed Hackenburg to be one of the biggest steals in the draft. The same guy who's mechanics have fallen apart in his college career and is skittish in the pocket now. Typical Jets pick wouldn't call it a steal though.

They have a 1,000 yd rusher in Mac, just signed Alfred Morris and Dunbar..............head scratcher of a pick with Ramsey sitting on the board. I'll also take the bet that he will not come close to sniffing 1500 yards, much less be a pro bowler this year.

Looks like you already lost that bet buddy.

Declaring a guy a HOFer before he has taken a snap...

If you ever wonder why no one takes your message board expert shtick seriously, you may refer back to this post.

Taking me serious now?

Elliott's HOF talent was easy to see.

Expect Hurd, Fournette, Cook, and Kamara to follow suit. All 4 are in the same class of elite RB talents.

Hey, if that's your opinion, then more power to you. Unlike you, I don't find this prognostication as some sort of competition. You think he is Christ wearing shoulder pads and most see him as a great talent, but keep their expectations in check instead of shooting for the moon. You wont be surprised if in the age of a passing league, that a rookie running back will break the rookie rushing record of Eric Dickerson from back in the early 80's?...........and among the top 5 in NFL history his rookie season?

I would say my expectations for Ezekiel Elliott were right now.

He's on pace to have one of the greatest RB seasons ever.

So you think 5 running backs between two draft classes will all be HOFers?

Yes. The class of RBs in college right now might be the best ever.

By the end of next season, Fournette, Elliott, Hurd, Kamara, and Cook will be 5 of the top 10 RBs in the league.

They are that special.

I said HOF talent. Not put him in the hall right now.

There's a difference.

Also I must say my prediction Goff would be a bust is looking on point.

I thought Wentz would be good (had him rated as the #1 QB in the class) but he's been a lot better than I thought he would be.

Shocked by Dak Prescott's success. Didn't see that coming at all.

You really stumbled upon something with Ezekiel Elliot considering he was the 4th overall pick As far as your Jalen Hurd prediction, he is nothing more than a less physical Derrick Henry with slightly better hands and yet you have already declared him a let down in the NFL? Clearly, you possess extraordinary talent evaluation skills far more superior than any other human.

So I say a guy is the next LaDanian Tomlinson and will rush for 1500+ as a rookie and might reach 2000 yards rushing and I just "stumbled" on that? Ok.

And FYI a lot of people were saying a RB wasn't worth the #4 overall pick at the time the selection. In fact most people were in love with Jalen Ramsey at the time.

So the idea that Zeke's dominance this year was a given is false.

Plenty of experts knew he would have a great year, especially running behind that great offensive line. You are still batting .150
