I know he’s had turnover and free throw issues this season but it’s funny they believe that, considering he scored 17, 17, and 19 against Kentucky and hit 5 threes against Arkansas to end the season. Also scored 19 at LSU. But I guess those aren’t good defensive teams
I’m just repeating assessments from professional scouting services. His stock is definitely on the upswing over the last two weeks. I think the scout is referring to his difficulty with big athletic guards who have nba bodies. He was guarded by big dudes in the Texas game, Texas Tech, Nova and Arizona. The sad thing from our perspective is that he’s definitely threatening first round again, after languishing in the second round for awhile. I recently saw him as the second PG in the draft. Not good if you want him to stay.
