Kentucky lost again

So, I've got Louisville +23.5 agin Kensucky....what ya'll think. Should I trust it and put another hundy on it? I hate lines like this. What's up with the Cards I don't know?

Kentucky has no business losing to this Louisville team at home.

However, it wouldn’t surprise me to see this game close in the 2nd half.

Tough call.

Me either. Is there an equivalent thread on the Around the NCAA forum about their football team? They're getting whipped 21-0 by Iowa, whose offense is just abysmal.

Maybe Destin Wade just isn't a QB, after all...LOL

True, also Toppin has been playing awful this year. Seems like they just don’t have a 4 man either.
Toppin is a freak athlete with great size, just like his brother. I thought for sure, he would be all-SEC, this year. Guess I was wrong, good game today, tho

If taking pleasure in Kentucky’s misery is wrong, then I don’t want to be right. This thread is a guilty pleasure of mine.

JMO but I think the transfer Portal will continue to hurt these 1 and done schools, especially if a team that is close gets that portal missing link. I assume some of these top bluebloods will adjust but it's hard sometimes not to take a group of young 5 stars yearly that sometimes have chemistry problems whereas adding a portal 3- or 4-year player of need to and established lineup is a safer route IMO.

I agree with the spirit of your opinion, but UK has really done just that, the last couple years. They have done really well on the transfer market, retained some of these freshmen for their sophomore, and even junior years, and it still isn't clicking for them for one reason or another. Cal's offensive philosophy is broken and he needs to overhaul it.

Yeah, because of the portal Cal had the player to win the award as college basketball’s best last year, and likely this year.

I do agree Cal’s system is broken, but I hope he keeps it just the way it is. Makes it easier for us to win 2 of 3, and this year possibly even better. Positive thinking, I know.

Well, a lot of my thought process is having more than one 5 star can sometimes cause a chemistry problem. I might be naive, but I believe Barnes recruits the personality that even as a 5 star they become team players. I just don't think he would take just any 5 star where I believe Calipari would as a star chaser. I think that is the difference in certain coaches, Wright being another like Barnes. JMO

He's not going anywhere before next season. He has four of the top 10 players currently committed for 2023.

Though, it may come down to how he performs with that class. He will really be feeling the pressure if he underperforms with that type of class, as it would prove that his process isn't working.

Feels like he could use this excuse every year if it stopped him from getting hired
Honestly idk how he keeps getting this recruits when everyone can pay. I certainty wouldn’t want to play in that offense, and if I just crave a blue blood there are other options
