Kentucky lost again

This will eventually be a good Kentucky team but certainly not a great one
Hard to say but losing a close one to a top ranked team this early in the season bodes well for UK imo. The past few years, Kentucky has struggled early with their freshman dominated teams before figuring some things out and making a run at the SEC title. No such thing as moral victories but I think the Kentucky faithful see more positives out of this game than negatives.

As do I.

If Jimbo can be blown out with his $76 million buyout, I would think that Cal’s lifetime contract isn’t going to prevent a change at KY if the want to do it. But KY doesn’t have the same wealthy donor base that Texas schools have. Nowadays there are a lot more oil billionaires than coal billionaires.

Kind of interesting that Thompson-Boling was built with coal money but now the athletic department runs on Pilot’s diesel. And carpet manufacturing, payday loans, and (possibly) satellite TV.
That is interesting. Whose coal money built it?

I suppose it depends on if and how fast some freshmen mature. I noticed Dillingham really trying to ignore Calipari's coaching more than once.
