Just ignore the pompous gators. They'll be in here mouthing off until we finally beat them. Tim Tebow may have won the heisman last year, but outside of that UF accomplished nothing for the season. The only thing they can hang their hats on right now is the fact that they blew us out, and haven't lost to us in a couple of years.

Scouts evaluators leave a a lot to be desired.

Rivals has him as the #18 Pro-Style QB and a 3 star which is closer to being his true placing.

He'll at least see more time in a UK uniform than Mossakowski ever will

This is where all Vols fans turn away and drink deeply on their beers. I hate Florida, not just because their talent beats us on the field but because they have no respect, no heart, and no recognition of tradition. But until the Big Orange compiles a streak over the Gators the way they have over Bama in the last decade we should take a vow of silence and concentrate on winning...then talkin.

Does winning the SEC east last season ring a bell gator fans? How about watching Florida getting killed by Georgia when tennessee beat them? And what about Florida getting beat my michigan, and Tennessee beating Wisconsin, the team that beat michigan? Stupid gator fans are so ambiguous.

Circular logic is flawed at best. Kentucky beat LSU, and LSU beat Tennessee, but Tennessee beat Kentucky (barely). Who's the better team can't be construed from one game. It's who brings the better team that day.

The people who "know football" whiff a lot more often than not. Let's face it- you never, ever, ever know when a "sure thing" is going to work out as a success. Or, when a 2-star will have more success than expected.

The only thing you can gauge is a baseline of talent with COACHABILITY.

I'm simply pointing out the only thing of note you can talk about from last season was beating us. So you gator fans come here and rub salt in the wound because that's all you've got. As far as this QB is goes, he still has his entire senior year to raise his status as far as his "stars" are concerned. That being said, those ratings are not always a good indication of how successful someone is going to be, but they set a pretty good bar.

NYCvol said he was a low 4 at best. Definitely a solid get for UK but if they can't beat us with Andre Woodson, I doubt this guy is any better.

I hate Florida just like the rest of you but we really have no room to talk trash. They have turned their program around under Urban BUT I think we could do the same under the new staff so they better watch out. This year should end the streak.

Roper was our RBs coach last year and David Cutcliffe was the QBs coach (considered the best in the country). This year it is Dave Clawson. I hope you aren't a paid football analyst because you are way off.

I never thought Randy was that bad of a QB coach, just couldn't call offensive plays that would get him out of a wet paper bag.

Roper was the QB coach at UK before Sanders. Thus, my statement stands.

I agree, he did a great job in 2004 getting two true freshmen ready to play and then making Rick Clausen look decent.

true, whichever team wins that day gets the bragging rights for the year, unless the losing team goes on to win a championship...that can usually make up for any loss

Anyone who believes Scout when ranking football players are very, very desperate.

UK has a 5 Star QB committed who will be wearing a baseball uniform this time next year and a 3 Star QB who will at least wear a UK uniform but will probably never start. Just watch and you'll see why.
